You drive down the mostly empty road on the crowded combat vehicle towards the towering torch-shaped building that is about two miles away. You're driving at a decent speed, but it may be unsettling to anyone who isn't used to riding in an automobile. It takes you quite awhile to reach the location, and not many others are on the road that leads to it (which is on your right).
The building is made of dark-brown wood covered in fire-proof wax that have elven lettering and symbols carved into it. When you reach it, the sun is beginning to set and the flame at the top lights a large area around it. To any that haven't seen this tower before (which is most of you), you are immediately impressed by the architecture of this building. There are 4 entrances, one on each of the cardinal directions, and the one you would enter on would be the North Entrance. The combat vehicle should probably be parked within 100 feet of the building for ease.
No one stands outside, but the great arch-shaped doors are closed and locked. There are metallic hangers than can be used for knocking.
What do you do?

Grumm clumsily dismounts, taking a moment to admire the scenery. Taking a moment to orient himself, he blinks at the realization that the various entrances to the tower are associated with the Cardinal directions. This causes a frown on his face, though for the moment he voices no other comment.
"Did... is this the sort of place one needs an appointment for? I wasn't really expecting such a nice tower, and all that."
Evas get's out of the car and starts walking towards the tower. He then takes a moment to look at it in awe. "It is quite nice, I wonder if the North entrance would be the proper one to go through? Perhaps different doors signify different things? I wonder if that Elvish writing means anything. I might be overthinking things." Evas keeps walking towards the tower and checks out the writing.
(Evas does. He got a bunch of languages, so I chose Elvish. If you don't think that fits my backstory, the only one that might fit is gnomish so... What do I do with the other languages?)
Most of the elven writing is scattered and incomprehensible at first glance, but just next to the North Entrance is writing that says "North, for the eternal winter's spite."
Do you want to knock on the door?

"It seems to say, North for infinite winters ire. Hmm, no, a better translation is North, for the eternal winter's spite. Should we knock? Maybe we should check the other sides of the tower?" Evas walks around the tower
(Onward!)
Grumm breathes a bit easier at the sight of the edge of the city, and the less developed countryside sure to be just beyond.
(Onward!)
Ebony looks out at the huge tower in wonder. "That's an impressive structure"
"Meddle not in the affairs of dragons, for thou art crunchy and taste good with ketchup."

Ebony hops out of the Vehicle with Ivory in tow, looking around at the exterior of the tower.
“Not sure Grumm, maybe we could try knocking?” he inquired, pointing to the metallic hangers on the door.

(Tek would fit better. It's a language developed by artificers in Lantoin that makes speaking about technical and scientific topics easier.)

(You can choose any. You've lived in Wadhaven long enough to have learned any other language.)

Okay, you go to the West Entrance, which has its own unique writing, but is otherwise identical to the North Entrance. For those who speak elven:
"West for the land of the enslaved claw."
