Ted sighs, a little chuckle coming out, “Well, that was fun! Let’s rush back to the Ravens Rest and promise never to speak of this again.” He winks at his companions, smiling as if oblivious to the clear judgements being levelled against him.
Ragnar sighs and heads away from Duncan's. He's torn between wanting to show the two barring the way into the tavern a lesson by giving them a good beating and the obligation he feels to making sure Zira doesn't get even more angry about what's been happening this evening.
He decides that he can always come back later and get into a fight with these two if he wants.
Ragnar moves back across the street, avoiding going straight to Zira and Gen-ga but walking past where they were waiting.
"I don't think they're there," Ragnar says in a quiet voice without breaking his stride.
He continues down the road, hoping Zira and Gen-ga will follow.

"Fine by me." Trixi did not judge Ted - at least nothing indicated she did - but honestly thought that the incident is over and it's time to rest before the road.
OOC: Party does Ted need to roll persuasion? Investigation was for places to hide. Wasn't that the plan? If not disregard.
Zira frowns nodding at Ragnar as she and Gen-ga fall in behind the cleric. Zira says nothing on the walk back. She stops in at the Horn but doesn't find the party there either. Puzzled they move on going back to the Raven's Rest.
OOC: We'll say the stealth was to avoid being spotted on your way back. Waiting on Erika but even with Trixi's critical Nat 1 it's looking like an overall party success! Come on shield maiden!!

Collectively the party returns to Ravens Rest with only a minor hiccup. Trixi's blue frame is spotted slipping into the tavern as Zira, Gen-ga, and Ragnar return just moments behind them!
"Trixi," Zira calls out jogging up to the sea-elf. By the look of Trixi's wound Zira knows something's wrong. Frowning Zira then spots Erika in the back of the crowd too entering the Ravens Rest but no one else. Ted, Molle, and Areon enter unnoticed. "What happened," she asks spotting Erika's wound too. "I...where is everyone else," she adds her tone concerned no longer scolding.
Zira looks upset but more concerned than angry.

Erika, who dismissed the illusion shortly after they made their escape, meets Zira's eyes. Seeing the concern, the Ygdridanian's eyes soften.
"There were... several misunderstandings. I am sorry if we caused worry. We are all here, now."
Erika follows the glance of Zira to Trixi. "Here, Trixi. Let me see that." She places her hand over the Triton's wound, closing her eyes. "Binde og Reparere."

She doesn't really seem to notice the streak of blood from the cut on her own upper arm.
Ted rushes in to the Ravens Rest, homing in to the nearest table as he collects empty glasses on the way. He spreads the empty glasses over the table, hangs his jacket over the back of his chair with his bag and lounges. After beckoning at the others, he waves his arm in the air looking around the room with a frustrated look, as if he’s been waiting on a drink for a good while.
"Neat!" Trixi's enthusiasm returned fully and she was honestly admiring good work. But then caught Erika's arm and pointed at the wound: "You would need to repeat it - look, they got you too."
The girl did not see any reason to hide the accident but others apparently did so she just nodded to Erika's words (that were true after all - there were some misunderstandings) and let the more talkative talk.
"I...where were you? Where are the others," Zira asks gesturing towards the inn.
At this point Erika and Trixi would see Ragnar and Gen-ga return as well. Zira would insist everyone go inside and fine a private area to talk.

Ted leans back, tapping his nose. ”Precisely Areon, the three Ds deflect, distract, and deceive.” He laughs “You sounded just like me there! Maybe you would have done alright in the sing song.”
”Awww, thanks Areon. I guess I want people to underestimate me, then you can take them by surprise. People always think I’m not listening, so they can be quite loose with their tongues. You surprised me today too Areon, you don’t boast, but when it comes down to it you know how to throw it down.” Ted keeps his hand in the air, trying to wave down one of the waiting staff for a drink.
As Zira comes in, approaching Trixi and Erika, Ted shakes his head in frustration, “Amateurs!“ he scowls quietly, “They’re going to blow our cover!”
Seeing Gen come in with Ragnar, Ted points. “Hey Areon, do you remember that guy from training at the institute? Ragnar I think it was.....”
"God kveld, Ragnar. Gen-ga. Come. I need a drink, we will speak inside." Erika accepts being ushered indoors, and points out where the others are sitting.
"Good Evening"
Erika goes to the bar, and orders the biggest tankard of ale she can. "See the half-elf over there? With the smirking face? Add it to his tab." She points out Ted.
OOC: Will be offline til tonight. Assume Erika joins the table after.
"Hälsningar sköld bärare," Ragnar replies formally to Erika and with a nod of his head he moves further into the tavern, looking for a back corner or private room they can take over.
As he passes by Ted and Aeron, he slows his pace and leans down to the two.
"You will need a new alibi. Gen-ga and Zira were here all night until we just went looking for you," he says in a quiet voice but with a big smile on his face. He then continues on to the back corner to claim a large private table where they can all talk.
"Hmm. I do not intend to lie to our friends and employers. We are not children with hands in the biscuit jar. The others... Well." She looks from Ragnar to Ted, then back to Ragnar with a shrug.
Trixi followed uncharacteristically quietly, but yet again - this is late night and sometimes even she can be quiet. She did not feel guilty but was not about to contradict others and was going to follow Erika's example.
Zira sits as does Gen-ga at the table that Ted has chosen. She waits as everyone else takes a seat and they see a calm come over her.
"I...I guess I did not express the seriousness of our tasks or its dangers," Zira pauses looking solemnly at Ragnar then finally back at the party. "You seem to have forgotten your training and how extremely important you are to our success," she adds but pauses again to clear her throat looking around for something to drink but seeing nothing she moves on trying to put strength and seriousness but not hardness in her tone of voice. "It pains me to have to remind you that you are not on holiday and that your time is not your own. You have given nearly a year of your lives already in the service of the Holbright Institue of Higher Magic. You have proven how special each of you are to us...how wonderous your talents I have seen," she says forcing down a proud smile. "You all have won such a coveted position and you should be aware of the expectations of you. I would have hoped you would all have the sense to keep our reputation in good standing! You may not have gone out into town wearing our emblem but who would claim you if there was trouble or worst..." she trails off her tones elevated before she recomposes herself. "Now the town is abuzz with calls of a false fire at tavern well known to house criminals and killers. Of a large man intimidating shop keepers for magic items that was described as only I can think is Garron and here you two return bloodied! What all of you have gotten up only Ioun knows what! Now I see Garron is missing. Where is Garron," she asks before grabbing the bridge of her nose and pinching as she gives a exhale of breath! "I am more worried I find two of you injured and one apparently missing than only to find out that all have traveled about the town apart without the good sense either to stick together," she declares suddenly with a hardened expression! "These games you are playing with your lives and our reputation are unacceptable! If you wish to continue in the service of the Holbright Institue you will act with honor and forethought in your actions! Not only would your death be a shocking waste of talent in a rough town like Timbergrove but think of what your actions might reflect on our mission? We would feel the loss of a friend as well as an able-bodied protector and scholar. If you can not give up this ego and wrongdoing to take your position as well as your importance seriously then you may leave our service immediately," she exclaims her tone resolute as Gen-ga seems to share her hardened expression. "I..." she looks at Erika and Trixie before she continues as if she's most disappointed by them having found them injured more than anything. "I...have decided I do not wish to know the details of what you've done this evening for some of you I feel would lie to me only adding more insult to injury but I warn you. I will mark it against each of you. Now we all need rest. I remind you we all have traveled far this evening and," she pauses again to look with a sad expression at Ragnar, "it was unnecessarily exhausting only to be topped off we've had some bad news," she begins again rising from her seat put a hand on Ragnar's shoulder in comfort and apology. "Simon Candor and his entire team save Ragnar Knutsson here have died on the mountain. I...am truly sorry for your loss Ragnar and I hope you know this evening was a singular event and that it doesn't change your desire to join us. These are good people in their hearts," she says gesturing over the table at the party as a bit of a smile returns to her lips. "I hope..." she pauses looking back at the party, "you all rest well," she adds then looking away Gen-ga abruptly rises from the table to join her but she shakes her head at them. "No, no good night to all," she says looking at Gen-ga and then to the party. "I wish to keep my own company tonight but Gen-ga," she says smiling at them softly. "Please do come and find me when you discover Garron's whereabouts. I would like to speak with him. I shall take a room for myself. I think the innkeeper said they had one more at the far end of the floor upstairs," she explains. "I...need to think and to rest," she finishes.
"Yes, Tamzira I... " Gen-ga trails off when she hugs them openly in front of everyone.
Zira then pats Ragnar firmly with her have over her heart before she leaves. Zira does not linger for conversation or explanations. Gen-ga sits down hard after she's away from the table however frowning at the party as their eyes then follow Zira walking up to the innkeeper whom she speaks with only for the man to quickly takes down another key and hand it over to her. Zira then disappears upstairs.
"I ask you Ragnar to go if you would like, Gen-ga begins looking at and speaking to Ragnar. "I am sure more rest would do you good," they add but does not wait for Ragnar's reply as they then look back at the party. "I..." Gen-ga pauses their usually even expression hard, harder than any of you have ever seen on their face before! "Anyone want to tell me what in the Nine Hells you six got up? Why didn't you stick together and where is Garron? What is him that attacked a shopkeeper...well tried to anyway," he asks looking around for him now at each member sitting at the table. "Anyone? I will keep you here all night if need be," they say with a cocked eyebrow looking over the party now their bronze lips turned into a snarl.
OOC: I am T-totally serious that no one will talk to Zira.

Erika looks at the others, specifically Ted. "No lies. We have caused harm enough already." She focuses on Gen-ga. "I can only speak for my part in things. She looks at Trixi, then back to Gen-ga, eyes resolute. "I will not apologize for losing my temper when one of ours was hurt. No more harm came to any of us after that. "
