Ted gazes at the silver daggers as he takes in Astrid’s story. “It sounds like you both come not only come from a line of fine smiths, but of fine heroes too.” He winks, “From what we’ve heard about these beasts, the time for heroes may be needed once more. I’m hoping we can live up to the legacy of these fine blades, we certainly don’t stand a chance without them.”
"If such monsters have again crossed into the mountains from the wastelands then yes it is indeed grim times having lived through them myself," Clarrisa replies with a deeply etched frown on her face as she looks at Astrid. "I do hope Jens and his friends are being careful," she adds as she worries a symbol she wears around her neck. Three eyes together on a silver medallion, the symbol of Ioun the Knowing Mistress. "I think..yes We could come to some arrangement that is fair," she nods as Astrid nods.
OOC: Let's see how low that price will go eh? Areon aid or roll your choice. Ted throw in a persuasion too.

OOC: I'll make it short since it took SO long for this exchange to happen.

Ted counts out his share of the coin and hands it over to Erika, “Astrid, Clarissa, YOU are the real heroes here. We are blessed to have such fine friends. You don’t happen to know where I could pick up some incense and charcoal around here do you, we’re on a bit of a time schedule so I’ve gotta be quick so I don’t get us in trouble..... again.”
Ted leans on the counter, smiling with a pride at his bad-boy reputation for a second before raising his finger in the air as if an idea just struck him.
“Your boy, Jens, he’s out at the ruins of Ellyria then? We can keep an eye out to make sure he’s safe, warn him about the beasts. You’ve done us a great kindness here, and we’re more than happy to help you out however we can.”
Ragnar turns from his watch of the street and notices that the others appear to be settling up with smiths and still need a few coins. He walks back into the store and looks down at what Ted has counted out and passed over to Erika.
"You'll have no shortage of charcoal, Tedbane," Ragnar says as he hands over 25 gp from his pouch. "Every campfire we have will give you more than you carry."
OOC: it's that 25 from 4 of you and 27 from the last?
"Yes, Jens thank you," Clarissa replies smiling. "He's fey-touched like you and Areon but dark skin like Astrid and wears our armor style there," she points to a piece of breastplate with ornate scroll design on it. "His party wear our armor and carry our weapons," she adds next.
OOC: I'm assuming y'all pay. Please deduct the amounts from your own funds and we'll consider them "handed over" as the transaction is complete.
"Thank you," Astrid replies taking the coin owed then dropping the coin into a clever looking contraption where coin goes in and you can hear it slide away into a bully metal case on the floor attached to the wall by the floor vault.
Astrid then locks the vault again.
"As for the incense I believe Morris of at Maxillian's Mending who sells what you need but be wary of that old charlatan! He's always been a bit...touchy but last night he apparently was attacked in his shop so he's a little more on edge," Clarissa warns. "He was apart of my adventuring party a long...long time ago. He's a fair hand with finding magical goods but set off one trap too many if you know what I mean," she jokes grins pointing to her head. "Well, good journey to you all," she finishes offering each of you a handshake in goodbye if you take her offer but it's your choice.
A big emerald and ruby clad signet ring with three diamond shaped eyes glittering in the fire light of the forges. The heat is very much making you sweat now in your armor as a cooler breeze from outside slips across your backs reminding you of the dreary ride up the mountain ahead.
OOC: Acknowledge if you take Clarissa's hand or not.
"Good journey," Astrid adds too coming up to stand beside Clarissa and they hold hands waving the party off before as you all take your leave. After your party exit they return to the business of the morning.

"Thank you for your help," Ragnor says then notices the ring. "That's the symbol for Ioun, isn't it? I have comrades who were laid to rest in the temple. I hope they find peace there."
Ted takes Clarissa’s hand, “Thank you for everything, I look forward to meeting Jens.”
As they leave the forge, Ted points everyone in the direction if Maxamillian’s Mending, having seen Garron enter the evening before. “I just need to pop in here for three seconds, who’s coming with me? I don’t want to go missing like Garron.”

"I thank you." Erika says as the clasps Clarissa's hand, after handing over the sack of platinum and her own 25 gold. "Your works will go to good use, both for the Institute and beyond."
Erika straps the new blade to her belt as they leave the shop. "Be quick, Ted. Zira is waiting."
"We better all go together then. Even if Garron just walked away, he did it after he visited that shop." Trixi walked in with Ted into the suspicious shop.
Ragnar takes a deep breath once he's back outside. He misses the cool air of Ygdridan. One day, he thinks to himself. One day.
He follows along with the others to the shop Ted is seeking but waits outside again. The more of them inside, the longer this will take, he thinks. While still morning, the sun is rising and they need to get moving if they're going to catch up with the scouting party.

Leaving Harker's Helm the party walks out of the cul-de-sac of forges and back towards the main street of shops towards the square. There they find Maxillian's Mending with a sign on the door that says 'knock to enter' while other shops around remain shuddered with signs that read 'closed' on them. Looking at the professed magic shop there's a light on inside that's moving around giving the impression of it being open. There is another large mercantile shop however doing bustling business a few stores down across the street. It's very near the square and the alley leading to Duncan's however but there seems to be plenty of traffic now as the morning goes on.
Ragnar, Erika, and Areon give me a perception check, please.
