With the 16 you find a couple of books that reference Krynn. One is called "Chronicles of the Dragonlance" and that is mostly stories about the War of the Lance but it has several references about dragon orbs.
One reference notes that the orb took control of an elven king who summoned the dragon Cyan Bloodbane. The wizard Raistlin took the orb and it's presumably still with him.
You also read about another orb, this one was taken during the War of the Lance. The Knights of Solomnia took it to gnomes to study. When the Whitestone Council convened, and all the nations were bickering about who should own the orb to the point where they were about to start a war over the orb, a Kender named Tasslehoff Burrfoot picked up the orb and threw it into the Whitestone shattering it into 2,687 pieces.
A third orb was used during the War of the Lance where the elven princess Laurana Kanan used it to control blue dragons and bring about their death.
The other book is titled "The Twins' Time." This one is a little bit smaller but it seemingly continues the story of Raistlin. In his attempt to become a god, he tries to use the dragon orb and it attempts to control him. It cracks and he throws it into the Abyss.

"I believe it introduced itself as Kryptawrath before dropping the dragon slayer on us?" Sybil replies a bit nervously, she didn't regard this information as important.

Meep, having found some answers but even more questions, heads back downstairs to the party and looks around for appetizers to munch on while he processes what he's discovered. If he sees Lussa, Delmalis, or Rotthran, he'll relay the information. If he runs into Twitch first, he'll just do whatever they are doing.
The appetizers are plentiful and good. Besides the similar items at the wine tasting, Day two features numerous food items found around Waterdeep. There are also notable folks from Waterdeep, including Lady Silverhand, the Amcanthras, the Wands, the Cassalanters, around the neighborhood including Vincent Trench the PI, Talisolvanar “Tally” Fellbranch, Embric from Steam and Steel, Fala Lefaliir, Rishaal from Book Wyrm's Treasure, and even Gilmore and his tabaxi friend Kylie.

Delmalis would make a point to approach the Amcanthras, "Thank you again for having the faith in us to let us showcase your wine. Hopefully everything is living up to your expectations?"
Lois smiles at Demalis. "Yes, everything is exceeding our expectations. Hopefully you are enjoying everything so far. Running a business can be difficult, but it seems like you and your companions have it handled. I've heard rumors that even the folks in the Castle Ward are planning to come down here. I've also heard about the orphange you want to build. That's very noble of you."
Meep, with that 11 you notice a lady kobold walking around carrrying a lute. She's wearing a thick wool sweater with a cat on it and is chatting up people in a high voice. Every so often, you catch her staring at you and when you make eye contact, you realize she looks a lot like you.

Delmalis flinches slightly, "I mean no offense, but I was raised with a different conception of what it means to be 'noble' But I appreciate the intended compliment. We've had some luck and most of us come from backgrounds where we would have appreciated someone helping us as we're trying to help others. Who knows, perhaps we will even find and train some future adventurers."
Lois nods at Demalis. "Apologies, I should have chosen my words better. Still, if you need anything, House Amcanthra would love to help."
Meep as you approach, the kobold turns to you, her eyes widening and lets out a happy shriek. Before you can find a rat or spider, she embraces you in a hug that catches you off guard for a moment. "Well if it isn't my long-lost brother." She lets you go. "Apologies, I know that was very forward of me to say. I'm your sister, Mabel but you can call me Dimples."
And there's no roll needed, you know this is your sibling.

Meep is overjoyed, of course, but equally flummoxed. "Mabel! Dimples! I - How did - What have - but how are- oh, to the Nine Hells with it - it's so good to see you! What are you doing here?"
Dimples smiles. "Well, I heard that old Sunblight was in the area and I wanted more information. As I came into Waterdeep, word spread of a kobold spellcaster 'Meep the Magnificent' and his companions owning some Troll Skull Manor. So I came here and the big guy (points at Guhner manning the door) said you were out. You have some interesting people in your employ."

Delmalis waves off her apology, "No, its nothing to worry about, just getting accustomed to a new life. Speaking of, that orphanage we're building, a big part of it is helping them learn life skills, apprenticeships with various craftsmen and such. If you were able to help us with that, it would certainly be appreciated, by us and I'm sure by them as well."

Meep, your Unseen Servant does what you ask as you move to the library. What are you doing up there?
Sybil, you show Mirt the various sketches and he stops on the puzzle with the triangle and eye. "You found this in the tomb?"

Meep is going to look for any literature related to Dragon Orbs, and failing that, he'll look for references to Krynn.
