Chernok turns to Meep. "The mother and father are doing it on purpose. I don't think the girl knew what she was doing. There are imps around the house and they're in service to the mother - and are forbidden from talking to the children. As for what's behind the door, it's the laundry room."

Lussareplies, "We believe it is some sort of message stone. We heard Sunblight's voice coming through it when we entered the children's room. It seemed to be part of a summoning circle there. Have either of the children been taught about summoning?"

Chernok nods at Twitch's question. "It can be, but if they were given instructions on how to summon the imp then they can do it, which is what happened. I thought I heard her talking to a rock or something. There was a high-pitched voice with a dwarven accent came from it. Sounded like a spoiled child to be honest.
Meep, roll a History check with advantage.
Victoro takes the stone from Lussa and examines it before holding it in his hand, trying to crush it. "Of course, he must have instructed Elzrarina on how to summon the imp." He pauses to suppress his answer before resuming his answer. "To answer your question, no. None of our children have been taught to summon imps or demons. We try and keep them away from it as far as possible. Ammalla has forbidden the house imps from interacting with the children, though there is one who is Elzarina's companion - Chernok. He follows her around and protects her. She even dressed him up as a toy soldier. Cute really."

Lussagives a wry smile, "a cute imp, that would be something to see." Then her smile turns to a frown, "but this dwarf, using children in this way, ... he has much to answer for. However, with this stone, he didn't need to be anywhere close, did he? So what's our next step?"

Twitch yowled and began stalking about the room in frustration; someone was doing something bad to children and needed to be eaten...or at least torn to pieces.....but they weren't here and it was sounding like it would be complicated to find them........also Twitch didn't really trust the parents either....
Victoro stares at Lussa. "I want you to bring him to me. He invaded my house and it should be me who passes judgment on him."
Twitch as you yowl, someone shouts from the other room. "We'll feed you in a second Whiskers."
Meep with your History check, you remember Ableforth Sunblight having a high-pitched voice, sounding like a spoiled child when he issued commands to his muscle. You likely think that is who Chernok is referring to.

Meep pulls Delmalis and Twitch in close, trying to speak so only they can hear. "I have that crystal ball back at the Manor - I've been learning how to use it, and I might be able to scry on Sunblight and get a clue as to where he is. What do you think?"
"By your command," Lussanods, "if at all possible. But if its a choice of his death, or one of us, we'll only be bringing you the body." Turning to Mabel, "shall we go find the others and start tracking this, beast, down?"

Demalis when you mention searching the rest of the villa, Chernok nods. "There's likely going to be a lot of people. I can scout ahead for you."
Lussa, when you propose bringing in Sunblight's body, he hesitates. "If you must. If I kept him alive, we could see if he's truly working for the lord and then perhaps I could bargain with Asmodeus for Sunblight's life.

As he leaves the office, Mable turns to Lussa. "I've been waiting years to pummel Sunblight's to death, so I don't like the idea of just letting him live, but you've taken good care of Meep, so I'll trust you."
