Delmalis moves over to the group talking, "Any idea why they brought an army to Waterdeep? Is the city taking action?"

The dwarf shakes his head. "It is a long way from the north. My guess is that after his father and brothers died, Baby Sunblight came down here to establish a foothold on Skullport. He might have some allies in Waterdeep." 

Mirt sips his wine and adds," The Sunblights used to work with House Rosznar in trafficking goods and people. He might try to contact Esvele or her brother. The Harpers are keeping an eye on the situation." 

Mirt moves close to Demalis. "Are you alright, son? You look pale." 

Lussa smiles as Lady Amcanthra approaches, taking a sip from her glass.  "Definitely a pleasure to have you here, you wines are definitely setting the stage for us, so thank you for that!  About the dragonward, yes, the rumored protection of the city is what drew me here in the first place.  A number of years ago the village where my family had lived for generations was occupied by a blue dragon.  Many died, those who could, fled.  I have vowed to myself to take our village back, one way or another."

 "So it is true that the Rosznars were trafficking, I wonder if they are still in that business?" Rotthran sips his wine.

Mirt nods and finishes his glass. "They've spent the last several years trying to redeem themselves but this could be a sign they've fallen back into it. I know the sister is adamant about redeeming her family. I don't know the brother very well." 

Lady Silverhands nods at Lussa's words. "I'd love to show you how the ward works but I'm afraid the original caster took those secrets with him. Tell me more about this blue dragon. If you truly want to save your village, your best bet might be to just kill him." 

Twitch, are you're at your station, you notice a couple of dwarves arm wrestling a goliath in the corner. The goliath wins and shouts," Another win for Guhner! Is there anyone who wants to take me on?"

Sybil you see Vincent Trench, the private investigator on the block, get a drink from Brew at the bar. He regards you with a nod and walks over. "Fancy place ya got here," he says. "I hear ya shopped from Gilmore of Gilmore's Glorious Goods down the street."

Also, has anyone mentioned the plan to establish the orphanage and connect it to the tavern? 

Sybil turns her head to give the investigator a look for a moment before going back to watching the gathering, "Went to the shop, owner's strange but he are good seller if you're looking for stuff I guess. Why are you asking?"

Vincent nods. "Rumor has it he's involved with a thieve's guild from Neverwinter. They're not like the Xanathar or anything. It's mostly things like smuggling, and stolen goods." 

Delmalis shrugs, "Must just be the light in here, I feel fine, thank you. As for the brother, perhaps we could persuade him to discontinue his former trade."

Twitch runs over and challenges the goliath......

Mirt nods. "Agreed. I'll see if I can talk to the lad. Apologies for prying, you just look like you've had a run in with the baron." He raises his glass and goes to continue to talk to the other guests. 

Twitch, you approach Guhner, who smiles and nods. "Really little one? You want to challenge me? Well then, let's do this." 

Roland stops by and nods, scratching Twitch behind the ears. "Don't underestimate Twitch, they're stronger than they look." 

Twitch, roll an Athletics or Strength check. Roland is casting Guidance so add 3

It looks like Guhner has the advantage but you find the strength and slowly but surely pin his arm with yours. The crowd cheers and Guhner shakes your hand. "Well done. You should be rewarded." 

He hands you what looks like a championship belt with a dwarf's face on it. This is a Belt of Dwarvenkind and it fits to your size. 

"What's your name mighty one?" Guhner asks. 

Lady SIlverhands nods at Lussa. "Where is your land located? Perhaps Waterdeep could send help. Before you say anything, note I'd happy to help you. You and your companions have done a great service to the city."

"Stolen goods and smuggling is not my thing. Proably should bring it up with guard or something. THere's quite a few who would have more interest in dealing with such things," Sybil gesture to the crowd of nobles and suck.
