Eider has more HP, I'm not sure how temp HP works technically with Sleep, and I may need to look into it for the future in this case, I don't much care. Eider knows the radius of his spell (even if EliteHatter doesn't), and wouldn't hit him self if he didn't intend to. No need to dwell on it any way you slice it.
You need to be conscious to capture or prevent capture. Also I'm not treating Nykkan as being within 10 feet of the flag as I would not effect him with a spell with a 10-foot radius centered on the flag.

Eider moves to C12, peeks his head out the still open door and will continue to try to end this quickly. He casts Sleep centered on B6 or B7 (Far enough away to leave himself out, but still close enough to catch Shmitty. I am having trouble gauging 5 ft increments). Eider will then shut the door and move back to between the windows against the wall at D12 as he doesn't know where their ally is exactly.
Shmitty hears the distinct unmistakable roar of the same creature he'd heard the night before, echo through the building. (Calgin, roll Athletics or Acrobatics)
He nearly passes out, possibly from terror. More likely from the sleep spell Eider just cast near him. Shmitty keeps it together
