Tower:

Contenders for the next match line up and recurve introductions as the announcer walks down the line.

"An orc born for the arena. He's has just the right tool for any opponent he meets! Cebak!" He carries every weapon he could get his hands on strapped to his back and belt from dimple knives to massive polearms. He wears steel armor protecting his chest and legs.

"A goblin trying to fit into society and stand out as a champion and performer! Swigg Mgoo!" He strums an instrument like a lute with a metallic hum, playing distantly familiar tunes. Under his collar a glint of studded armor is visible.

"A woman with impeccable aim. Elves who devote their lives to the mastery of the bow, they say, can never be matched! Ashiera Thorn Star!" She carries a bow as tall as herself and wears steel plate to protect her chest.

"And a magician of giant proportions, if you weren't impressed by his size you'll be at least be amazed by his show! The Great Maginio!" He carries staves to focus his magic, and this appears to be his only visible defence.

Cebak move to D7 and ready his action to shoot with his longbow to the enemy.

Ashiera attempts to hide 22 and then moves out to M4.

Maginio moves to 11E and casts magic missile on cebak. (10. do I need to make a ranged spell roll, like with ice knife or no?) Darts of purple magic zoom around to hit Cebak at D7. He stays silent, hoping to not attract attention.

Then he yells out, as an attempt to impress the audience and intimidate Cebak.

"Hey cebak! You Imbecile! You cant hit me! You couldn't hit the side of a giant goat if you tried!

Swigg moves to K11 and plays the chords to a very familiar lullaby at Cebak's position Sleep 27. Then he will hide 12

Ashiera quietly moves to K10 and lets an arrow loose at Maginio. Attack: 27 Damage: 10

Village: (Round 1)

Eldin moves out and tosses a bottle at Grianne. It bursts in a flash of fire singing the area within 10 feet for 6 fire damage (Dex save DC 12. No need to roll your attack in a spoiler). Grianne's friend is unaffected. Grianne has half cover. (E-6 has total cover. I'll assume you target i-6) Eldin ducks out of sight. (Anyone may contest.)

Cebak looses his arrow.

Swigg let's Cebak sleep. (I'll assume he moves it accordingly to avoid Maginio's new position.)

Ashiera fires and hits Maginio. But he's protected with Magical armor.

Cebak snores.

Swigg slides out to G10 and spins to face The Sharpshootress. He reaches into his road bag and pulls out a wooden guitar pick carved from a tree struck by lightning and begins to shred. Everyone in the coliseum feels their hair stand on end as Swigg's manic collision of notes rises creating a ball of lighting in front of his guitar. He looks up and his black eyes make contact with Ashiera and an arch of lighting extends from the ball and reaches out to her Witch Bolt Attack: 19 Damage: 14

For a moment the daylight becomes moonlight.
