We are (as i write this) 10 people CherryBomb314 that war better be massive or we will obliterate them all in a few hours XD
I get you are new, but for Play by Post campaigns, the DM picks between each of the applications and picks who gets to play your campaign. So far, three of you will not get to play this campaign.
Alignment: (Depends on which dragon god makes sense for her to pledge to, given the story you want to tell. Assume Bahamut, and her patron would be some powerful devotee to Bahamut, but if you like, I would be open to Tiamat.)
Background: Soldier
Backstory: Polly didn't have anywhere else to go as the wars raged. Her village thought the voices she heard were bad omens, so they cast her out, and the only ones who would take her in was a passing mercenary army recruiter. She survived being in the thick of the civil war, somehow. Each battle, she managed not to die. And she... thrived. Became gleeful in the chaos. Listening to the voices, or rather, one voice, who seemed to know how to protect her from physical harm, if not emotional. Then, one day, her company was gone. And she began to wander. She then found herself listening to a larger voice, a second, more awe-inspiring draconic voice, and became sworn to the dragon god.

(If it makes more sense to stick with warlock all the way, I'm fine with that -- I just got fascinated by the journey from shell-shocked veteran enabled by a patron who protected her but addled her mind a tiny bit... to finding a bit of purpose and calm under Bahamut's wing. She's got some quirks from her time on the front lines, listening mostly to voices and her patron. She's often a little giddy, but then will start talking to a passing bird or become enthralled by the color of a banner. I'm envisioning the patron's either a dragon or some entity affiliated with Bahamut (or Tiamat, if that's more interesting and fitting).
Backstory: Not many knows where he came from, and he himself would like to forget. He wanders from place to place, town to town, and one adventure to the next. No one knows if he's looking for something or running away from something. Some say he is a criminal on the run, and maybe he is. Some say he was abandoned, orphaned, and now looking to either find his past or seek revenge on those who orphaned him, and that's a possibility too. Who knows? Maybe if you ask him, he'll tell you. Or... maybe he'll kill you before he disappears into the shadows again.
This was a hard decision, but the party has been decided. Below are the players who got in the campaign:
Halfast (Halfastbracegirdle)
Mason (Laserwit)
Umbraxas (Dimir_MTG)
Brightmoon (JRouge55)
Blade (Thiameliamne)
Tuner (jgadelange)
Polly (rkmobius)
Congrats to all of you, but for those who were passed up, sorry, but we may meet again. The campaign starts tomorrow, and I'll make the OOC chat in a moment.
