Gorm goes investigate the silver claims while trying to still keep an ear to the interrogation. He spends a minute or so appreciating the paintings and considering who he knows who would be able to sell them for a profit but they seem a bit burdensome to carry out of here unsuspiciously. The silver, on the other hand... Weighing them up in his hands and considering his options, he takes four of the bars, not wanting to slow himself down or throw off his fighting style.
"We'd be foolish not to take them," Gorm says to whoever happens to be around. "The guard are just going to take them and blame whoever they pin the deaths on..."
Jeremiah and Gorm notice small bells in the offices that you assume are connected to the door below that were triggered when you opened the secret door.
(Gorm you could grab all 10 remaining without being encumbered)
‘Sorry, that was us I think - the door upstairs is connected to a bell..’ Jeremiah says as he arrives downstairs. ‘Did you learn anything from the Kenku yet?’ he adds
(Yeah but trying not to be too greedy, and as a monk I figure I wanna stay light on me feet...)
"Huh... that may not be good," Gorm says, hearing the bell.
Gorm will look for the bell and do the best he can to examine in and figure it out. He's curious about it. Is it only ringing in the office or does there seem to be a trigger to ring elsewhere as well? We wouldn't want unexpected company until we're ready for it...
The Kenku looks up at you. In a thin, nasally voice it screeches, “Tie up the pretty boy in the back room!” and “Follow the yellow signs in the sewers.” Then in a scratchy voice, "No time to loot the place. Just get him to the boss.” The more you pressure the creature, it just keeps repeating those phrases. After a the kenku says this a few times Renaer cuts in, "Curses, they must be taking Floon to Xanathar. We need to hurry! He grabs a dagger and rapier from one of the crates in the room. As he turns back towards you, the door to the warehouse is kicked open. You see a dozen men of the City Watch rush in behind a tall human. The captain looks around and calls out, "Halt! Who goes there? The Watch received reports of suspicious activity here."
Gorm - It seems like it is just in the offices and is directly connected to the secret door being opened or closed.
‘Well, sir... We were in the area at the request of a Mr Volothamp Geddarm, who was worried about a missing friend. We tracked him down to this here warehouse, and when we looked through the window, we saw all these bodies and the kenku strutting around. We subdued them so we could rescue this genetleman here, who it seems was with Mr Geddarm’s friend when they were kidnapped. Mr Geddarm is at the Wailing Portal, and will confirm.’
Jeremiah takes a deep breath after that, coincidentally making his Mage Hand disappear as he finishes talking.
The guards look around for a few moments, a pair of them hurry over to the bodies and check them over. One of them calls out, "Zhents and Xans sir!" The captain walks up to you and gives a nod to Renaer, "What they says is true Mr. Neverember?" Renear nods to him. The captain takes off his helmet and says, "Hyustus Staget, Captain of the City Watch. I have a few questions for you lot." He asks you about who you are, what you are doing here, how you found the location, who Floon is, and why he was kidnapped. If you would like to try and either hide some of this information or lie, make me a deception roll.
(I don't think there's anything controversial in those questions, given we went out of our way to subdue the Kenku, and hadn't been torturing anyone! Do you need a deception roll to not mention the silver bars? 13 if so!)
'My name's Jeremiah. I don't know my last name. I'm just from the streets, and I was in the Wailing Portal just earlier at the time Mr Geddarm was looking for help, after we, umm, helped with a troll and some nasty blood-sucking birds.' He unconsciously touches his shirt, where the stirge bit him, looks around 'We seem to be getting along together okay, but we don't each other all that well yet..'
Listening to everyone, Hyustus warns you, "Best not to meddle in criminal matters. Leave this dirty business to the City Watch. If you are intent on chasing after this Floon and going after the Xanathar guild, it be best to keep the blood off the streets. Not all City Watch officers are as nice as me to overlook the potential burglary and assault charges that could be placed on you after this. Just to make sure you know what the rules around here are." He hands you a copy of the city's code legal.
As he talks to you, the rest of the Watch grab the Kenku and take them into custody and begin to catalog everything they find in the warehouse.
'Umm, thanks?' says Jeremiah, looking slightly nervous about the wall of words and regulations, then looks at Renaer and lowers his voice enough that the nice guard can claim ignorance. 'Are you okay to stay with the watch here, while we keep looking for Floon?'
Renear leans down and whispers, "Aye, I can should this blow over quickly, I'll be near the bar I was kidnapped from keeping an eye out. Should you need me look for me there." He then walks over to the captain and begins discussing what had happened and asking questions about what will happen next. Hyustus is doing his best to put on a good face and be helpful to the young lord.

(You could grab 6 bars before you are encumbered)
Guardian - roll a history check, also an intimidation (I take it that is how you are trying to get info out of the kenku)
Jeremiah stashes 6 bars of silver, and then heads back down...

"What was that bell sound?" Violet twitches anxiously.

"Hear what?" He asks Violet. "Do you want to ask him some questions? I think he might be ready to talk." Indicating the Kenku.
‘Sorry, that was us I think - the door upstairs is connected to a bell..’ Jeremiah says as he arrives downstairs. ‘Did you learn anything from the Kenku yet?’ he adds
"I can carry my share of silver bars, and I know a guy who knows a guy who can change this into gp..."
Vi's ears are twitching nervously. "Phew, you sure? I hope that wasn't an alarm. Ok, quick then, let's get info from bird-freak."
"What happened here? Why are you here and who do you work for? Do you know Floon or what happened to him?"
(Yeah but trying not to be too greedy, and as a monk I figure I wanna stay light on me feet...)
"Huh... that may not be good," Gorm says, hearing the bell.

Jeremiah conjures his Mage Hand, using it to stroke the Kenku’s cheek in a creepy way. (Giving assistance for any Intimidation checks?)
The Kenku looks up at you. In a thin, nasally voice it screeches, “Tie up the pretty boy in the back room!” and “Follow the yellow signs in the sewers.” Then in a scratchy voice, "No time to loot the place. “We, uh... we heard this guy cry for help,” Gorm says, indicating Renaer. “We peeked in and saw the Kenku and so we rushed in to help!”

Gorm is with Jeremiah in both telling the truth and I’m not mentioning the reallocated silver bars.
Deception for silver, if needed: 14
Guardian basically repeats the same answers.

Code Legal:
