(So Lostur says rest and Lorvax says not, what do Kray and Brenvull say?)
Brenvull while the others see about healing Lorvax and try to decide whether to take a short rest, you take a good look around. You spot nothing else dangerous in the two rooms. In the library The shelves hold books on arcana, history, and collections of tales and legends. Many are old and fragile. Tucked away among the mundane works are spell scrolls of arcane eye, knock, and magic circle. The desktop drawers hold various vials of ink, quills, and stacks of parchment. One drawer also contains linen gloves, a padded stand, and a pair of small, padded tongs for handling the older volumes.
Moving back to the workshop you see that the room is well stocked with tools and materials for crafting. Most of the materials are mundane, but there are some items of value. A bolt of azure silk worth 100 gp and a dozen spools of gold and silver thread worth 2 gp each sit among other tailoring materials. The table has already been searched by Lostur.
Brenvull returns to the others sharing his findings: "Does anyone has any use for any of this, or should I just put in my bag for later use?"
"I feel we should just go on for now. Time might be of the essence with that witch lurking around in the tower. After we encounter another danger, which I am sure we will, we might need a rest even more, and I would not want to waste to much time"
"I am afraid we do not have the luxury of time brother. Allow me to channel Bahamut's touch and heal some of your wounds. You'll find better in a minute."
Kray closes her eyes and silentrly prayers to Bahamut to allow her to be a channel of His power to heal Lorvax.
"We must hurry and stop this ritual. We cannot allow this witch to complete it" she says to the rest gathering her weapons again.
Brenvull walks towards the teleportation circle and on his way there he says: "Just stand there and think 'up' and you go!" He goes to stand there and will think up as soon as one of his companions disappears.
A bright blue flash fills your vision and you feel like you are being propelled upward at magnificent speed.
Blinking away the light you all find yourself standing on the next level of the tower. The circle at your feet sparks and grows suddenly dull. Outside of the circle you notice the floor is a soft, green lawn of grass dotted with flowering shrubs and fruit trees. The ceiling bathes the room in a warm, golden glow.
Water flows down the tiers of a marble fountain and collects in its round basin. Three curved benches sit around the fountain’s edge. A set of double doors are the only exit aside from the teleportation circle which appears for the moment at least to be out of power.
Lorvax stoically nods his head as Kray heals him, flexing his arm a little to check whether there was any lasting injury. "Thanks Kray," he grunts.
He follows cautiously behind Brenvull towards the teleportation circle. "Nothing can ever be simple,"he moans before stepping onto the circle and thinking 'up'.
((Apologies Dreamhobbit - I think we posted at the same time. Do we all make it through the teleportation circle, or just Brenvull?))
"This place is amazing! I never knew this was in the tower! Are we in the tower still?" Brenvull says as he and his companions arrive in the room. He takes a little moment to take in the beauty of the room before setting of towards the door: "I don't see any other exit, so I think we should go here".
Before going towards the door he will take a quick glimpse of the room for anything of notice (perception 19). If he sees nothing he will walk towards the door and listen for any activity on the other side (perception 28).
Lostur can't help but whoop excitedly as he's transported up. He rushes to the fountain and dunks his head it, pulling back and shaking it out while exhaling loudly in relief. "This place is great!" he tells the others, going for some fruit next. After plucking what looks like it might be the ripest, most juicy, sweetest morsel the trees have to offer, he approaches the double doors, munching. "'Lessie where it goes," he mumbles around his stuffed cheeks.
Cursorily, he checks the door for any tripwires or other traps: investigation 10
Brenvull as you glance around the room you are taken once more by the beauty of it. You do notice that the water around the base of the fountain seems to shift strangely, just for a moment. Reaching the door you hear nothing within.
Lostur the water is cool and refreshing and the fruit delicious. You march over toward the door and begin to inspect it for traps. The good news is that it appears to be clear the bad news is that your impromptu dunking in the pool has awakened the water elemental that lives within. You hear a loud gurgling sound as it rises up out of the water behind you and...
Bravely, Lostur lets out a yell of surprise that isn't high-pitched at all, at least not in his own mind, and runs away (taking an AOO if he must, however, he has Armor of Agathys still up, so the thing will take some cold damage if it actually hits him). Once he's achieved roughly 30 feet and some tree cover away from the walking wall of water, he yells at the others.
"I knew this place was messed up! The water tries to drink you!"
Pointing at said water, he fires off a few eldritch blasts.
((I assumed the natural 1 & natural 2 were misses, so didn't roll damage!))
Eager to prove himself useful, Lorvax desperately attempts to wound the creature in front of him; unfortunately, he finds unoccupied space more than the elemental standing in front of him.
((Posting ahead of my turn, should be resolved after the elemental))
“Well, maybe you should not touch everything without hesitation dear Lostur.” Brenvull chuckles. “Maybe you could all do with the blessing of Bahamut for this fight”. He says as he casts bless on his companions.
Lostur, Lorvax, and Kray (from your next turn) you have 1d4 on attack rolls and saves!
