The hardy half-elf fights off the debilitating effects of the ghoul's touch, but finds himself at much closer quarters than he would like. He commands the tentacle to strike his assailant, then lets loose a clap of booming thunder, hoping to injure the foul undead further. He opts to hold his ground for now.

Thariv is not thrilled to be at close quarters with the foul undead, as he instinctively knows it will be hard to summon his magic powers with the nasty thing in his face. So, he opts for the old-fashioned way, whipping his dagger from its scabbard and takes a lunging thrust at the ghoul.

"Well, that was interesting. I wonder if these bags of bones can tell us anything." Ufeza says and he sheaths his rapier and digs through the remains of the undead.
As Ufeza pokes expertly through the (re)dead bodies, Luther - who was about to haul Zephyra behind him to safety - stares at the human with his mouth hanging open: "That was...brave...and selfless. Thank you Zephyra, I will try to repay the debt next time we face danger"
Unsure of what else to say or do, and still stunned by the lethality of the attack as by the gesture, he turns to Thariv and says "Watch what you do with that dagger, sailor. The pointy ends can be really sharp on some of them"
He winks and pats the warlock on the shoulder, checking him for wounds at the same time: "That magic of yours is lethal though; you OK mate?"
"If this fight was educational in any way, I now know to never make Zephyra mad when she has her club," Ufeza says as he examines the crushed skull of the ghoul the druid dispatched so excellently.
From the clothes he was wearing, Ufeza can tell that one of the ghouls was an elven noble. The fallen corpse is wearing a thick silver torque with intricate bone engravings that just proclaims "I have money to spare" to anyone that looks at it. He also has a pouch holding 30gp and a potion of healing. Another of the ghouls is a fallen cleric, wearing a rusted holy symbol around her neck depicting a tree of life symbol – the heraldic symbol of their faith surrounding the tree.
