Giant's perception 19.

The giants looks suspiciously in the direction of Gruntor. He is not wearing armor or wielding his weapon, which are in the tent but the pulls out a dagger (which was probably a large greatsword in the hands of a humanoid).

Giant's initiative. 3

Everyone goes first before the giant, but no surprise round.

The firebolg barks out a command like crackling flame, and the giant is lit up in little flames dancing across his body. He backs up a bit.

(Waiting on the results of the giant's dex save before posting Nasaar's action, as advantage would change things.)

Dex 4

Failed. The giant is engulfed in the magical flames.

Gruntor moves in with his sword and axe, 

Battleaxe Attack: 13 Damage: 12

Longsword offhand Attack: Attack: 17 Damage: 10

For the first attack, he will add 3 damage and add a dc14 str saving throw in an attempt to disarm him.

Nasaar lets loose with his heavy crossbow, the bolt lancing out at the giant. His shoulder cannon also sends out a blast of force at the same time. Nasaar then moves back, putting distance between him and the giant, and making sure his companions are between him and the enemy.
Heavy crossbow to hit is 18, damage is 7. Balistia to hit is 19 Damage is 4 force.

The giant shouts:

"Little bugs attack me?! I chosen by gods! You never kill me!"

Swings at Gruntor with "dagger":

Start of Round 2.

A light erups from the far of the cave, and touches the giant. The magic fire conjured by firebolg begins to dim (will disappear at the end of the round).

Gruntor grunts in pain, and takes a swing with his axe.  He takes a deep breath, and gather his energy.  He than takes a defensive posture, grinning at big one. "Not bug, wll smash big one"

Attack: 26 Damage: 11

Bonus action Second Wind  7

"Spell failing!"

The firebolg unleashes a barrage of arcing rays of flame from his hand at the giant.

Attack: 26 Damage: 7
Attack: 23 Damage: 9
Attack: 22 Damage: 11

Nasaar shoots at the giant again...

The cannon on his shoulder also fires once again...
Eldritch Cannon: Force Ballista...
To hit: 14, Damage: 8

The giant is hurt by the onslaught. He takes what looks like a small stone from his bag, and throws at the group. It explodes in impact into a fireball.

Everyone roll DEX saving throw.

Firebolg: 3

((Didn't bother with Concentration since you said faerie fire was fading.))

20  dex save (with advantage due to dodge?)

Nasaar fails his dex save, result was a 3.

Those who fail take 7 fire damage, halved for Gruntor.

Start of new round, you notice some of the smaller cuts are healing on the giant.

Nasaar grimaces as the flames lick over him, but he sends another crossbow bolt in...

His small cannon sends out a burst of force as well...
Force Ballista to hit: 17
Force Ballista Damage: 10

Nasaar continues to back up, hoping to put more distance between himself and the others, so that another fire attack won't get them all.

Crossbow gets deflected off the thick layer of blubber on the giant, force ballista hits.

The firebolg calls forth a tiny flaming bird that flies around him and some of his burns seem to calm and fade, he falls back, hurling flame at the giant.
