You can suggest that and far more. you are my loyal and obedient slave and you follow every achievable request I give you. (9 more words to nail it down for the lawyers of the world) Up cast mass suggestion so you can have dozens of year long slaves.
Goal, make it less mother may i.
Result, make it the most powerful mind control effect in the game.
Suggesting a creature to allow any and all amounts of magic to fully affect it doesn't sound reasonable by any stretch - per the RAW of the spell it must be a reasonable request.

I know what you're thinking: "In that flurry of blows, did he use all his ki points, or save one?" Well, are ya feeling lucky, punk?

2014 its reasonable, 2024 its achievable. 2014 allowed the DM to reign its power to a level 2 spell which created a mother may I effect, 2024 breaks are off players will pick up perfect wordings of the spell to make it more powerful than any level 2 spell should be.,
It can’t involve any damage being dealt to the target or its allies, so something like “allow any spells I cast to affect you” would be out. “Allow any non-damaging spells I cast to affect you” would presumably be alright.
2014 rules are different; the request must be reasonable, and also you can’t voluntarily fail a saving throw.

Rule 0 says otherwise, particularly when you are not describing “a course of activity”.

All must describe course of activity limits is people wording things into a course of activity. And with the internet being available some form answer of "best" wording will be out there soon. Rule 0 is fine, but we are talking about the rules not how i will house rule it. Which i a still working on. It is a level 2 spell so it should be better than command, but not by a massive amount.(side note command is super powerful for a level 1 spell)

This reply reminded me of the following video with some crazy examples when using the 2024 version of the spell. Personally, I believe these uses are not the intent of the spell.

I agree its not the intent. I'll try to trim its power down in my games to more what I think the intent is. The spell is poorly worded imo.

Honestly? After watching many of his videos, I'd take anything he says with a grain of salt. Most of his videos are intentionally interpreting the rules in bad faith for views, or doing very opinionated reviews without context to validate that something "sucks".
You can suggest that and far more. you are my loyal and obedient slave and you follow every achievable request I give you. (9 more words to nail it down for the lawyers of the world)
I'd argue that isn't achievable. A person cannot simply choose to stop hating someone and instead be loyal to them, that is changing a fundamental aspect of their personality which is not something someone can just choose to do in an instant.
I mean just look at all the enslaved people in history that suffered immensely by defying their masters and attempting to escape when their lives would have been less physically painful, less dangerous, and more simple if they had just obeyed. But they just had that irrepressible spirit that could not tolerate being enslaved, being obedient even if it cost them everything.

I think so too, and it's sad because it gives a false image of the game and the rules, just to get an audience.

"allow any non-damaging spells I cast to affect you" is not achievable, because RAW a creature does not know what spell is being cast until after it is finished being cast so the target cannot tell if a spell you are casting on it is non-damaging or not.
May I suggest failing all of the target's saving throws? Perhaps suggesting that they gladly accept spells cast at them?
