A.) Can someone tell me what skill i use when i make poision or use it and what proficiency bonus i get from the poisoners kit and if its already automaticly added?
B.) What HIT do i role if i want to throw my weapon. The same? Do i have to press anywhere so its automaticly reduced/added ? Or does my GM decides that?
A) I would say nature/survival to know how to extract the poison, sleight of hand to do it without poisoning yourself. Proficiency in the kit would give you advantage on these checks (and has all the tools you need, otherwise you will still need a container for the poison).
B) If it has thrown property, whatever the weapon usually uses (and proficiency bonus if you are proficient). Otherwise it is an improvised range weapon, DEX, 1d4 damage, and no proficiency without a feat.
1) I'm starting my new Half-Elf Rogue Inquisitive at Lvl 3. Because I get a +2 to my Charisma, and a +1 to two other stats of my choosing, I'm thinking of adding the +2 to my lowest Ability score (10), making 12 my new Charisma score. Now, if I were to get proficiency in Intimidation, would that mean that with my proficiency bonus, that would give me +3 to my skill check?
2) Alternatively, if I were to make Strength my lowest ability score (10) but get proficiency on Athletics checks, would that be a +2 to the check, or do I add nothing because of my base ability score?

Yes and yes. Your skill modifier will be the ability modifier plus proficiency modifier if proficient.
Also as a rogue, you could have expertise which would add your proficiency modifier again. For example, at level 3 with 12 charisma and expertise in intimidation, you would have a +5.
The character sheet on DDB will add all these bonuses automatically.
Okay, so just for clarification, even if my base ability score is 10 (Strength, for example), I can still add my proficiency bonus to a skill check (climbing a wall, for example) if I have proficiency in that skill?
Also forgot about Expertise for Rogues, thanks for reminding me!

Yes. Even if your ability score is below 10 and is a negative modifier. 8 strength, +2 proficiency = +1 modifier for example.
Planning on taking the Urban Bounty Hunter background and build/play them as an efficient bounty hunter/detective type. I think I might just keep the 10 in Strength and consider taking Expertise in Athletics later, since the Inquisitive gets a buttload of perks later on for their Intelligence and Wisdom lol. I think a subsequent +4 to Intimidation suits me just fine, might take that as my other Expertise skill if I don't wanna buff out Investigation or Perception more.
Thank you again!

Super helpful, thank you very much!
