I've been playing D&D for a while with friend via Roll20 during the quarantine, and I just noticed today that the Roll20 character sheet has a different attack modifier than D&D Beyond does.
My stats are the same on my DND Beyond sheet and on my Roll20 sheet. I've verified this three times over, so I know it's not an error on stats on my part. Level 7 character with a 15 Strength stat score and a basic quarterstaff is what I am looking at.
D&D Beyond is showing me a +9 attack modifier for this basic quarterstaff. When I roll a D20 for a quarterstaff attack, it gives me a +9 modifier. Roll20 is showing me a +5modifier for the exact same attack.
A level 7 character has a +3 proficiency bonus, and the strength score gives me a +2 modifier to the attack. So a +5 attack makes sense, which would mean Roll20 is correct in the stat.
I'm wanting to know what could be causing D&D Beyond to give me another +4 to my attack on top of my proficiency and strength bonus (+5)
Edit: I have removed all my equipment and started adding in items again. All my weapons came back with a +5 attack mod, which is what it should be. However, when I add in a magical weapon that has a +2 to attack rolls and +2 to damage, it gives every melee attack weapon a +4 modifier for the attack itself. So I've at least narrowed it down to what's causing the issue. However, this magical item is now my primary item, and the fact that it's giving this additional bonus to everything is going to cause issues.

Did you make the item or did someone else? If you made it we can probably walk you through fixing it. If not you have to ask the creator to fix it.
Is it supposed to work like a +2 weapon? If so, it should have the "magic" modifier, not an attack or damage modifier.

Sounds like the Magical item may have been coded incorrectly, and shouldn't be hard to fix. Is it homebrew?
