Instead of a Chaos/Law and Good/Evil alignment, I have a stranger design, consisting of 3 pairs of opposing forces
Chaos / Law: Same as the basic alignment system
Domination / Inspiration: Domination is focused on itself, while Inspiration is focused on everything
Destruction / Transformation: Destruction believes that stuff that they don't agree with is fundamentally bad and should be annihilated, while Transformation believes that everything will eventually if they are given enough chances.
The Material world is at the center of a giant cube, comprised of 8 equal sized smaller cubes. Each cube is aligned with one side of each of the moral wars.
The range could better assist players wanting a sightly more nuanced character world. While I do love pitting the forces of good versus evil again and again in the world of D&D, this new mod can leave a bit more for motivation speculation. I have often made NPC's which I had trouble assigning a L/C and G/N/E alignment. This particularly came into play when making druids which, while not evil or indifferent, but focused on bigger things then most characters. As for bringing this model into your actual world state, make sure your players are well informed about these variations. A reference model is always helpful when explaining the planes to new players.
It sounds cool! I’m always fascinated with alternate cosmologies. (Even included an alternate Inner Planes in my homebrew dromite backstory. Yay, homebrew races!!)
Also, I find it interesting not just exploring each axis in something like this, but in how different ones interact. How would a Chaotic Domination differ from a Chaotic Inspriation one? From a Law Domination or Law Inspiration?
Plus, with 3 pairs and with a “neutral/balanced” option on each, there are 27 possibilities, right? Well, it sounds like 26 and the Material World. Thinking about a Chaotic Inspiration Destruction plane would look like, for example, or Lawful Domination Destruction plane and how each could be the source of very different kinds of threats can definitely inspire a lot of ideas. I like it!
Defintiely share more as you come up with it! It would also be interesting to see how the outer planar races would map onto this (fiends, celestials, modrons, etc.). Some could have slight variants or be split up perhaps.

What do y'all think? Any major issues?

I like it. Little confusing but still good.
