Ability Score Increase. Your Intelligence score increases by 2 and your Wisdom score increases by 1.
Dual Natured. As a creature composed of a mortal host and a spirit from the Realm of Dreams, you do not dream when you sleep. You cannot be affected by spells or effects that require you to dream such as the spell dream. In addition, your connection with a Quori spirit wards you against spells and effects that would cause you to be mystically manipulated or controlled. You have advantage on saving throws to resist being charmed or possessed.
Friend to All. You have advantage on Wisdom (Insight) and Charisma (Persuasion) checks.
Naturally Psionic. You learn the Mind Meld psionic talent. Once you reach 3rd level, you learn the Celerity psionic discipline. Once you reach 5th level, you can use the surge of action power once with this trait without expending psi points. You regain the ability to do so after you complete a long rest. Intelligence is your psionic ability for these disciplines.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and Quor.

I like it... I still want subraces, but I really can't think of anything to make them stand out as a playable option. Or even viable other than me just wanting them. (The needs of the many compared to the wants of the me...lol) We may not need to private chat it up, I think we're close! I am a big fan of this. Henshin, I believe you have done it!
I like the idea of having extra psi points for the race, but if there is nothing to use them on then why have them. It's been hard for me to break away with what I want and what the race needs for 5E. lol I think this feels balanced. Also, I love adding Celerity. That's something for the character to focus on but also when building a Mystic you will know that it will be a Discipline that you will receive so could make for a more creative build. Great job!

Maybe the Inspired as a subrace? Or would they be a complete race of their own?

As a suggestion, I would change Naturally Psionic to grant advantage on the abilities listed and require the character to learn those abilities as a mystic. This is game balance as opposed to storytelling, so if you think your characters will not min/max because of the additional abilities they would gain then ignore my advice.

I think that probably works. I like that giving them a discipline but no psi points means they can use the focus ability even if they aren't a Mystic, but get more out of it if they are one.
I do still think that Dual Natured and Friend to All might be pushing it, in combination, but the Natural Psionic benefits are probably less powerful than the Tiefling's similar feature.
That is actually a good comparison. If we side by side the two races,
the Tiefling gets Darkvision and Resistence to Fire, a cantrip at level 1, a decent spell at 3 and another decent spell at 5.
The Kalashtar gets advantage against charm and possession, immunity to magical dream manipulation (pretty minor, in most campaigns), and Advantage on all Insight and Persuasion checks, and a "cantrip" at level 1, the passive abillity of a discipline at level 3, and a spell equivelent at 5.
I probably should have read the description of the psionic abilities first. Having advantage is worthless with Mind Meld and Celerity. I think the bump at higher levels is in line with Dragonborn breath weapon damage increase as well, so please disregard my suggestion altogether.

I think Celerity is a bad fit for the Kalashtar. Perhaps Aura Sight (with Read moods as the level 5 power), or Mantle of Awe (with either Centre of Attention or a 2psi Charming Presence), or another Awakened Discipline would fit better.
If GMoat is still wanting subraces, Players Guide to Eberron has implied subraces for Kalashtar (the ECG one is Tsucora, and it provides Du'ulora and Hashalaq). Keith Baker's name is on the cover for that book.

I am fully aware of what the Kalashtar are, Kristian. Perhaps if you looked at my cited source you would understand what I said/meant.
The PGE says that the Quori spirit most Kalashtar are descended from is Tsucora, and then provides feats for a Du'ulora ancestor, and a Hashalaq ancestor (in the Spiritual Ancestry sidebar on page 83). It shouldn't be too difficult to adapt the idea of this into 5e subraces, I think, and this was what I was saying.

I just meant that I didn't think those feats are intended to treat Kalashtar as having subraces like elves or dwarves have drow or duergar as subraces respectively. That's just my personal view of Eberron. As we all know, everyone is encouraged to do what they want for their Eberron.

I'm inclined to agree with you on that, for what it's worth. I do think that feats that expand on their racial abilities in different ways would be appropriate, but I don't think that subraces would be the right fit to represent that. I don't imagine their general capabilities are noticeably different, on average.
Anyway, I think Celerity works fine, though a more cerebral Discipline would also work.
(btw, the last podcast episode totally leveled up my current adventure, which introduces the PCs to eachother in flashbacks on the day of mourning, the two year anniversary, and then culminates in series of events in Sharn, on the 4th Rememberance day, starting with a Rememberance Day ceremony, and uses call backs to (hopefully) make the characters begin to suspect that they are being pushed together by the prophecy. )
Ah, that didn't really come across in the post, so I'll apologise for my harshness as well. My original suggestion was only made because GMoat had wanted subraces, and I was providing him with what I would use for subraces were I to give Kalashtar subraces, which I probably wouldn't. I agree with BricingWolf in that racial feats are the way to go with expanding options for the kalashtar, and I'll raise it with Disciplines that only Kalashtar can take (or a Kalashtar only Mystic Order, with its own school of disciplines, though that might be harder). I recall that 3.x had various prestige classes for kalashtar (is the plural form kalashtar or kalashtars? Or something else altogether? I should really go and listen to manifest zine, as its been on my to-listen list for a while.) that could be simplified down into disciplines with relative ease.

Again, I don't think we need subraces...I just want them. In my mind, it seems like a good fit for the race, but nothing comes across as a viable use of the subraces for kalashtar. Like at all. I'm sorry I'm stuck on them. I actually had to talk myself down from making another subrace last night. I get it, I do. I really think I'm over them right now. And let's try to keep the snark to a minimum on here, we're all in this together. :) Don't let my neurotic and baseless want of subraces take away from the point that we have a pretty good race build right now! (HenshenFanatic for the W!!!!)

Right! I thought the same thing. That will be fun to play with. I am making a 5th level Mystic later to try out this race build.
And you really should check out the podcast, userZynx... It's pretty awesome. And I am pretty sure the plural of Kalashtar is Kalashtar. Kalashtari sounds cool, though.

It must be the lowest psi point cost ability of that discipline. You regain the ability to do so after you complete a long rest. Intelligence is your psionic ability for these disciplines.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and Quor.
Now, there are a couple choices, rather than subclasses, representing Kalashtar who are more physical or more Intellectual, and thus better monks or mystics. The Disciplines changed to an improved Telepathic ability (you can keep up a telepathic link with up to 6 allies while focused) or added strength against psychic threats. I think that fits pretty well.
Since the two disciplines aren't the most powerful ones, and you have to choose which one to focus on, and can only get a free use 1/long rest, I think they the fact you get both is balanced.
The change to the stats is also a balance thing. I felt that giving them +2 Int, and a discipline, and a talent, was like giving Drow +2 int instead of +2 dex, without sunlight sensitivity, and hoping no one plays a drow wizard. :D or a high elf +2 int with it's free cantrip. this way, Kalashtar Mystics still have a couple advantages, but they aren't quite as strong, and they make just as strong Monks.
I actually like your version more than my 1.01 version. The only thing I'd change is drop the advantage to Wisdom (Insight) checks. I also would like to note one thing about Telepathic Contact; without actually being a Mystic the Kalashtar doesn't get telepathy with up to 6 creatures because they would lack the Telepathy class feature, but does get the base version of the Telepathy class feature while focused; which is somewhat less restrictive than mind meld (though there are some situations where mind meld is superior). Also, I like how you figured out how to avoid giving out the mind control abilities of Telepathic Contact by essentially restricting the free power to one of exacting query, occluded mind, or a 1-psi version of psychic parry.

Thanks!
About Telepathic contact. "Psychic Focus. While focused on this discipline, you gain the ability to use your Telepathy class feature with up to six creatures at once. If you don’t have that feature from the mystic class, you instead gain it while focused on this discipline."
It gives you the class feature while focusing on the discipline, so the contact with 6 peeps should work fine, unless I've missed something.
if it helps, we could replace Mind Meld with the Telepathy feature?

Agreed on the advantage to Insight. With the +2 bonus to wisdom, it is too much.
Also, thanks! At first I was going to list them out individually, but then realized that it just needed to preclude the use of the high cost powers.
