Sure! My setting is the world of Wakai (The old name for Japan, “Wakoku”, combined with the root for “world”), based off of Japanese folklore. A lot of spirits, also shapeshifters, gods, kami (in mine, nature spirits), the classics. A twist, though, is the history. In the past, there were humans, dwarves, elves, all those stuff. The elves were Indian mythology-styled, dwarves were Chinese-mythology styled. Then, there was a world-spanning war, and the elves and dwarves (as well as the more minor races) were wiped out. The halflings and gnomes, though, cunningly transformed themselves into animal-like shapeshifters to survive, becoming the Tanuki and Kitsune.
Resisting is simply standing in front of the tide and pushing at it. Even if you endure at first, you will eventually break down. Adapting, by contrast, is turning into a fish.

Brief thing of what I have so far: Tiamota (the world) is pretty similar to most other worlds. However, most established Settings only center around one Continent, which has all of (or at least the majority) of monsters and races. Tiamota, on the other hand, is more...spread out. 7 main continents, each of which has 2-4 races that are found primarily there. There's Lazkirosa, the massive continent at the North Pole, populated by Dwarves and Orcs. Below Lazkirosa, in the Western Hemisphere, there lies Ikothos, or 'The Sword,' as it is commonly known. Ikothos is a land scarred by the wars between the Goblinoids, Halflings, and Aarakocra (and Kenku - the fallen cousins of Aarakocra, scavenging in the wreckage of their once-great city, Ibcremis) that live there. Below Ikothos (Southern Hemisphere) is Buillos, the land of Titans. Dragons and Giants, in addition to their smaller evolutionary relatives (Wyverns, Goliaths, Dragonborns, Ettins, etc), reside here. In addition to the larger Continent, there are the Islands of Wolgar, populated by the 'Primal' races such as Yuan-Ti, Shifters, Lizardfolk, and Lycanthropes (not a race, but there are a lot of them there; ancient curse and all that). Moving back up to the Northern Hemisphere, on the opposite side of the world as Ikothos, there is Hae-Gan. Hae-Gan is the "Main" Continent. It has a population of mostly Humans, with some Tabaxi in the Punjab Peninsula. Roughly half of Hae-Gan is controlled by the Wraith King, in the country of Theonad (the mountains of Cusal restrict his conquest to that area). Meanwhile, in the continent of Puros (directly below Hae-Gan), everything sucks. Unless you're a Genasi or an Elf, it's gonna be rough for you, in the Slave Kingdoms of Rakator (ruled by the Water Genasi, as it's in the middle of a desert), or the Utopia/Dystopia of Prathgar (Elves [read: a**holes]). In the relative center of the Map are Tialas and Erath, two continents (formerly one - there was a magical experiment, and stuff went poorly) that are populated by the mutant remnants of those who once lived there (Simic Hybrids Irradiated). Below Erath and Tialas is the Quvok Reef, a, well, reef. With some islands! There's also Kasen, an island below Hae-Gan that boasts the finest craftworks (and the deadliest weapons) in the world (Artificers, Warforged, Forge Clerics). And, above (and slightly to the West) of Ikothos there is Doskain, home of Gnomes, and the former home of Centaurs, before they were brutally enslaved by the Genasi! Happy times
There's also a MASSIVE list of Gods and Goddesses, in addition to Demi-Gods/Goddesses, but I won't go into detail about that. There's also a big timeline spreadsheet, but again...don't think people want to see a massive wall of text about when x ruler died, and when y monster was slain by z hero. If interested in more...let me know, I could whip something up. *coughcough-30+-pages-of-lore-coughcough*

I am working on a campaign setting based on Norse mythology.
Fareheim
Fareheim is a world where a civilization of giants faded away and left strange, magical, runemarked menhirs. Superstitious humans live in small villages scattered through an endless forest. Elves and Orcs war in the dark boughs of the woods, and dwarves live in the Underdark. Goliaths live in island kingdoms and raid Giant ruins.
Bournemouth is a dangerous place full of dark secrets, magical monstrosities, and a shrouded past. Bournemouth has long been a place a conflict; the races were at perpetual war for longer than an elf’s lifetime, then everything changed when the rifts opened. The rifts allowed magic to pass into the world and corrupted the creatures of the land in mysterious ways while allowing the destructive races of the land to wield something much more dangerous than any weapon: magic. That was not all, for the rifts let creatures, nay monstrosities, through and into Bournemouth. With all of this pressure applied it seemed a foregone conclusion that Bournemouth would collapse, however, heroes rose to unite the world. For one hundred and fifty years the rifts brought ever-increasing waves of chaos onto the land. Then fifty years ago the rifts were closed by a group known as the Heroic 12; no one’s quite sure how they did it and they remain tight-lipped about it but it worked. For a while at least. Now fifty years after the rifts were closed they have begun to open again. It is time for new heroes to rise and face the dangers and mysteries that envelop Bournemouth.

I have a weird sense of humor.
I also make maps.(That's a link)
Wakai also means young in japanese. Otherwise, that sounds really cool!
When players get creative.
I'll just post the preamble to my setting primer.
