I’m rather inclined to agree with Cyb3rM1nd. They’ll probably head back to Zadash right away, or at least that’s the impression I got about how they closed out the episode. They wrapped up a lot in a tight little bow. At most they’ll want to visit Molly’s grave on the way back, with a probably extremely emotionally charged scene, since they were able to close out his story so well (knowing that there are plot points of his that will come along later). More so if everyone is back on Thursday, since Jester, Fjord, and Yasha weren’t there for his death.
Non sequitur: was anyone else hoping Ashly Burch would permanently join the cast? She was already my favorite guest player, but Keg was damn awesome, and I hate to see the two go.
oh man I was so far behind on CR. I powered through four episodes this weekend and I'm so glad I did. It really picked up the pace story-wise. I agree that Ashly definitely fits in with the crowd. I don't see her becoming a permanent member, but I certainly wouldn't mind it if she did. As an aside, I also feel like Khari's appearance at Gen Con just felt more better than the first time he was on the show. That might just be me, or maybe the situation, but it felt like he clicked with the group very well this time.
Also, nothing like a tragedy to bring the best fan art out of the woodwork. Incredible stuff.
I want to be part of this threads conversation but I can never catch the live show and always catch up Monday's. I wish spoilers could be hidden better. I appreciate your comment because it contained no spoilers, so, thank you! I am using "patient defense" as we speak...waiting patiently for episode 30 to be available on youtube while hoping my defense prevents me from seeing spoilers.
It's kind of a mixed bag there. I would say that most critters are aware that four hours is a huge time to devote to a show, and so there is an awareness that most people are going to get to it when they can. As a result, I think it's very reasonable to avoid the thread until you've watched the episode, and join in on the conversation as soon as you can. The beauty of being a critter is that you can always find someone to talk to. As an example, I fell asleep watching Honey Heist on Friday, and when I woke up in the morning, I saw people joining the Critical Role Twitch chat to be just hang out in the community. Literally some where coming on and chatting as a part of their morning routine while they were getting coffee before they were starting the day. The point being, when you're ready to talk Critical Role I have no doubt at least someone will be ready to talk Critical Role.
Edit: I'm not normally a frequenter for forums, or I haven't been since about 2001. My 111 posts here are well over 50% of my forums posting, so I'm very limited in my knowledge base. What's the tag to hide spoilers?
ok, I want some spoiler talk, so I'll try to do it respectfully. This concerns an item that Pumat Sol had.
Do you think the fancy sword with no blade that Pumat sold to Caduceus was a Sun Blade?
No. Because:
It still had bits of metal blade. The Sunblade would have no metal blade.
It is however the same one they passed over after killing the merrow. It must be important, since Matt went through the effort of (implied narratively) having the Gentleman's people retrieve it from the stash and sell it off to Pumat so the players could gain access again. Based on that, my guess would be that it's a vestige.
I started watching this campaign and it’s just me and my dog at here. His name is Ford. My name is Beau. He was constantly looking confused hearing the two characters with our names lol!
I'd just like to reiterate how amazing Caduceus is. He's such a great character and Talesin fits surprisingly easily into that role. I liked Molly a lot, but The Deuce definitely brings something fresh to the table
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
I know what you're thinking: "In that flurry of blows, did he use all his ki points, or save one?" Well, are ya feeling lucky, punk?
Hi there fellow critters... Just "singing" to this thread so we can comment and talk about the show.
Currently on track with it but I use to need a couple of days to see it... Is there any spoiler policy? If I would say something I would use the spoiler tool and put a lot of SPOILER ALERT before it... it's that ok?
I don't think anything official. Use good judgement and be respectful on both sides. I'm actually behind, too. I'm taking care of some housecleaning stuff for my D&D streams, but afterwards I'm going to finally get to last week's episode.
I fell asleep before whatever happened, happened. Have to catch up on lunch hour or after work.
It was such a fun episode! How fast everything just went sideways had me and my brother laughing, gawking, and asking WTF was going on. Bad decision after bad decision just piled up near the end, but I feel like they salvaged a decent outcome considering the start of it. I am curious about how the
release of the Marid is going to impact Nicodranus and its economy. I get the sense with Algar's response that it will be a slight hiccup in things that may cost the city some money to redesign the Sluece, but if there's mages inspecting things after the boat heist it may eventually point to the M9 as being involved with Algar's disappearance.

I would absolutely be a fan of Ashly staying on a bit longer, at least. She gels so well with the group.

If so, how long do we think until Fjord's patron starts urging him to CONSUME it?
Awesome. Thanks.
