i was doing some reading, flavor the "great old one" to be a greatwyrm or similar, or fiend, and play evil with tiamat as your patron, or go celestial and take the dragon god bahamut as a patron, or lean into your koboldyness and go for celestial with forgotten realms god that went missing but maybe flavour your character as a last survivor of a log though dead tribe - far traveller - and patron to kurtulmak???
or if your dm likes homebrew like mine, pact of the tome and partner it up with the chronicler from the Spyro franchise "the chronicler" spyro a new beginning/eternal night/dawn of the dragon...
Someone cast thread necromancy and revived this thread - good thing since I missed in back in 2021 when I was in fact playing a kobold Path of the Totem barbarian/Rune Knight fighter (9/11) for four years straight, all the way to level 20.
Raised as a slave to frost giants outside of Ten Towns.
Mor is an arctic Kobold, hailing from the cold reaches north of Ten Towns. At a young age, members of his tribe were captured and enslaved by frost giants. Mor was made to cook for the Jarl, who while fond of raw meat, had a particular passion for jerky. When Mor wasn't cooking for the Jarl, he was tending the winter wolves that the giants kept as guards and pets. Mor got his name from the constant phrase the giants used when they wanted more food. They would shout, "More!" every time they wanted more. If Mor was not present, they would shout, "Where is More?! Bring me more!" Eventually, the name stuck. Mor came to learn the language of the giants over time and to pick up some rudimentary skills at both cooking and animal handling. It was the later that eventually won him his freedom. His close relationship with the winter wolves provided him an opportunity to escape one night while tending the pack. Mor, lacking a saddle or any experience with riding a beast, stole out one night while desperately clinging to the fur of one of the winter wolves. Mor made quick speed southward to the only human settlements he knew of, that of Ten Towns. Upon reaching the outskirts of the town, Mor released the winter wolf to return to her pack. Mor, now released from his slavery, is determined to eventually return to the north and enact vengeance on the giants and to free Les (his clutch-brother) and any other Kobolds or enslaved humanoids.

Kobold Barbarian Path of the Giant, he's a 2 foot tall kobold, with a Napoleon complex
If it doesn't involve 3 kobolds and a trenchcoat go back to the drawing board.
