For me its the half-orc, they've got some cool abilities such as Relentless Endurance "When you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright , you drop to 1 hit point instead." And they've got plus 2 strength.

It wouldn't even be my third choice for a barbarian race, I'm just saying that the bonus to dex it gives is not useless.
Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
I kind of want to make it work now especially since I think they are really thematically fitting for a beast barbarian.
