Hey just need to make sure if I am doing this correctly to calculate dmg
So our campaign is doing a homebrew world where our party is a gang wanting to become the best for some purpose. I am an Rouge Assassin, due to my first character becoming imprisoned (He was an innocent barbarian Half-Orc).
Our party new objective to save the Barbarian. The DM lets me to create a new character to join in the fun as my character is imprisoned.
One of the homebrew things that is in this world is guns and bullets with different effects
*(my weapon is a smg) - dmg 3d6 (bludgeoning)
Hallow point - X3 Crit Dmg
AP - Reduces enemy's AC by 1 per d6 they are hit with (up to two)
Tracer Rounds - Gives next attack advantage against the target
*Effects of bullet applies only on crit hits
*Question of Hallow point bullet
If I land an attack, I would do 3d6 (weapon) + 3d6 (sneak attack) then times the total by 3 (HP bullet)
As an Assasin, I can "Assinate", which gives me more crit hits,
Assuming you land a crit, assuming your party is flanking/you can generate Sneak Attack, assuming your gun is finesse/Dex, then you should do 3d6 + 3d6 (x3).
If you just land a regular hit it won't multiply by 3. Nothing in the Assassin lvl 3 abilities give you access to extra damage, just a new way to apply Sneak Attack (if you hit someone during a surprise round/before they go).
I believe that's correct, but I don't have my books in front of me to verify.

I know what you're thinking: "In that flurry of blows, did he use all his ki points, or save one?" Well, are ya feeling lucky, punk?

Would it be then be (8d6)* 3 dmg?
