I’m not sure how familiar you are with the game yet, but I’d still recommend watching other’s play online and/or in person to get a feeling of what it’s like in general and what it’s like at certain tables, as each experience can vary slightly. 

For online gameplay, there’s always Critical Role or sometimes playthroughs sponsored by this site itself, but I personally prefer Dungeon Dudes. They are about 8 episodes (about 16 hours) into their latest playthrough Seasons of Silence.

As far as in-person gaming, try using Google of Facebook to search for local groups that may have game nights. That’s how I found my group. A lot of them will have/allow content sharing so you will have acess to things you would have to pay for and may not even be available for purchase anymore.

Lastly, don’t be afraid to ask questions on here. I’ve found there are plenty of people that are willing to help.
