Is this going to be one of those situations capped at the highest class ability (similar to the paladin/cleric ability) or is this an unknown at this time?
I don't think they will bother to cap it. In general there's not much point having more than three weapons you get mastery in (a ranged weapon, a melee weapon, and an off-hand weapon). The "weapon juggling" theoretical builds are (a) silly, (b) fiddly, (c) almost irrelevant with the fighter 9 property, and (d) rendered irrelevant the second you get a decent magic weapon.

Unknown, but I assume you simply get the weapon masteries relevent to the different classes you've used.
