1) Telekinetic Propel Class ability. Why does it only work on Creatures. I can telekinetically move a young dragon, Brown Bear but not a pebble. If this is a move creature type ability how about target makes an INT save, on a fail it uses its reaction to move. its full movement away from or in a direction the Psion chooses.
2) How close does WotC want Telekinetic Fling to be like Magic Stone. they both affect ammunition in the caster's hands, but Telekinetic Fling has range of 60' BUT Magic Stone has a range of self (but flings ammunition 60 feet. )
I noticed that as well with the propel, but you also get the mage hand cantrip for free that lets you move things and later telekinesis. I’m guessing they were only thinking about combat applications since that seems to be the theme that draws the most attention.
Telekinetic Fling may be more flavorful if Psion can point to a very light object not held that is withing 60 feet of Psion and with a flick of his finger. "flick" it at a target. within 60 feet of the Psion.

I am a bit surprised that they didn't include the catapult spell in this.
Fling should basically just be Catapult turned into a cantrip. Drop the 1cp ammo requirement and just let the caster fling small objects in the environment at enemies.

magic stone has a very different action economy, and would not work well with psion features like swift precognition or. teleporter combat.
catapult is a spell, and a saving throw, which is a lot harder to effect than attacks for the psion, effecting a saving throw needs two dice, and effecting an attack is one dice.
as far as needing ammunition over being an item thats around, i agree an item around is more flavorful, but those abilities require a bit of dm acceptence, its also possible that you. can use +1 ammunition and get its effect. But i overal agree, that while i definitely think it needed a ranged attack cantrip, preferably having telekinetic flavor, it could use some pizzaz.
that said its a cantrip so, as long as it does the job needed it will have use.
