The UA releasing the subclasses for the new "Heroes of Faerun" sourcebook includes a subclass for nearly every class except Warlock. It also includes a Noble Genie subclass for Paladins as well as word that updated lore on Calimshan will be released with the sourcebooks. So why not include an updated Genie subclass for Warlocks as well, especially since there's so much incompatibility already with 2014/2024 Warlocks and the invocations?
Personally, I'm upset because I'm creating a genie patron Warlock for a 2024 campaign setting and having to homebrew an adaptation into the 2024 ruleset and general Warlock subclass flavor (always prepared spells vs. expanded list, etc.). However, I feel like adding this class through that recent UA would have made much more sense...especially since it seems they clearly had noble genies on their mind when they created the Paladin subclass...

I have the same request: In our new campaign, I'd like to play a Genie Warlock. We're playing with the new rules (2024).
Dear folks at Wizards of the Coast: Please give us an updated version of the Genie Warlock.
