Fifth level maybe Destruction Wave? But nothing else catches my eye... Arcane Hand?
Arcane hand is the generic Basic Rules spell name for Bigby's hand, which is already on the artificer baseline spell list so that wouldn't work unfortunately. I thought armor of agathys was a decent choice on the first pass, though might be sending the wrong message since you'd also have hellish rebuke, another warlock exclusive spell, at that level. Probably choose between armor of agathys and hellish rebuke, then have ensnaring strike be the second spell gained for 1st level gallant spells. I think destructive wave is as good a choice as any that you'd have available for a 5th-level choice. Maybe circle of power for additional utility and support?

"I'm sure you understand why they'll need to be replaced" was referring to the XGtE spells the OP currently has in the specialization spells for this subclass and that they NEED to be replaced with spells from the Basic Rules/PHB because the minimum any player wanting to play this or any homebrewed subclass should ever need are the class & subclass rules themselves and the PHB.

Perhaps destructive wave and conjure volley, then? Just double-down on how much AOE damage you can inflict at level 17+? You already have conjure barrage on the spell list, so wouldn't be a huge leap forward logically speaking. I'm also probably overcompensating for my earlier obliviousness, but it does read as very Iron Man of the class to be able to effectively nuke anything near or far from them at higher levels.

Thought up a few other 1st-level spell options for the gallant, although most of my justifications for them are admittedly weak already. But I'll let you see what you think:
