It’s got some cool ideas and adds a real new swing to the fighter, my favorite class. I think my biggest complaint about it is the lack of a sidebar explaining where it came from in the forgotten realms.
My current take on it and Dunamancy is working with the player for an answer, and usually my go to with Realms lore for it is Netheril Empire and some kind of lost scroll or tome from said empire.
Echo-Knight is from the wildmount expansion, not the forgotten realms, from the Krinn dynasty. They worship the luxx, I think, and the fragments of potential/possibility that remain from a dead god or something like that.
Random question - Even though an Echo Knight is specifically from The Krinn Dynasty, is this to say that you cannot play as an Echo Knight PC in another realm that has nothing to do with Krinn Dynasty?
I just really like both the mechanics and rp potential of Echo Knight

I'm playing one on the sword Coast, it's all up to the DM and how you can justify its use
