I'm currently playing an Echo Knight for the first time, and it's been interesting so far. My character is Dex-based, using a double-bladed scimitar with the Revenant Blade feat. After he levels up to 5 (likely sometime this week), he's going to craft a flame tongue, so doing 2d4+2d6+5 per hit (and 1d4+2d6+5 on the BA attack).
So far, I'm pretty impressed with the class. We fought a young remorhaz last night, and—thanks to finding out that the echo doesn't count as a "creature" to trigger the remorhaz's fire damage, he was slicing and dicing from a safe distance. My question, however: any tips on how to keep my echo alive? Since I do get a BA attack with this weapon, it'd be nice not to have to use my BA every other turn to re-manifest my echo.
