I started out as Battle Master and am now at level 7 I'm thinking very highly of multi classing into Blood Hunter (Lycan). I think it would go very well with my background of House Agent (Vadalis). Thinking my house experimented on me and thus Lycan Blood Hunter. I know this isn't the typical Blood Hunter way so I'm wonder on other peoples thoughts on this?
I won't be able to multi class till level 9. Level 8 I'm planing on getting the feat Skill Expert to get proficiency in Stealth (I wear Medium Adamantine Half Plate armor, so disadvantage on that) and Expertise in Perception plus I can bump my INT up to the required 13. My DM is allowing Blood Hunters and I asked how long the home-brew campaign will last and they said they're going for 20 but at least 14-15. If I bump up 3 levels in Blood hunter to get Lycan I get the Hunter's Bane, Blood Maledect, and Blood Curses. If we actually get to 20 (haha hehe) I'm thinking 12 levels in Fighter and 8 levels in Blood Hunter. I suppose I should also say I'm the Tank of my group, so Lycan will give me the resistance to Bludgeoning, Piercing, and Slashing damage.

Are you just doing it for story reasons, or is there something mechanical you’re going for?
Do you know how high the campaign will go, level-wise?
Are you sure your DM allows blood hunters? Do you have the 13 int required? I’m asking because most fighters, heck most characters, dump int.
Either way, I’d take a serious look at taking level 8 in fighter for the asi before switching over.
