The 10th level feature for the Battle Master fighter archetype reads as follows:
"At 10th level, your superiority dice turn into d10s. At 18th level, they turn into d12s."
Through the Martial Adept feat and through the new fighting style in Tasha's, it is possible to pick up different superiority die that are d6s. If you have any of these superiority die from other sources, because they are all apart of the same pool do the d6s from these sources also increase to d10s at level 10?
Example: Begin as a variant human and take the Martial Adept feat (1d6), choose the new fighting style (1d6), and then later choose the Battle Master archetypes (d8s from that point on). At 10 does the pool of superiority die become (2d6+d10s) or all d10s?

I have ruled that because [feat]martial adept[/feat] says "this die is added to any superiority dice you have from another source" then any features from Battle Master also apply to the Superiority Dice gained through this or other sources with similar wording.
I am not confident this is RAI, and RAW remains unclear to me.

Honestly this was my interpretation as well. Regardless of RAI this is probably how I would run it at my table, but I was curious if there was some obvious wording or errata I was missing that clarified this little detail

For anyone that comes to this in the future I ran in to a tweet from Jeremy Crawford on this subject.
Here is what he said:
If you're a Battle Master fighter and take the Martial Adept feat, the superiority die from the feat improves when you gain the Improved Combat Superiority feature, which intentionally makes no distinction between a die you get from the class and a die you get from the feat.
For me this means that you would start your subclass with the d8s and d6s I think. Then at lvl10 they all become d10s. Not sure if the d6 from the feat becomes a d8 when you take the subclass though, I'd allow it I guess.
So at 10h level Battlemaster Fighter, it's possible to have 7x d10 superiority die. Your base Battlemaster die increased to 5x at Level 7 and you can gain a d6 superiority die through both the optional Fighting Style Superior Technique and the feat Martial Adept. So all 7x die scale up at level 10. And all 7x are recovered on a short rest.
