When ever I try to make my Banneret Fighter character with Purple Dragon Rook and Commander, the origin feat of Squire isn't there for some reason, is this a bug or am I just dumb?
Just for the sake of clarity, "Purple Dragon Squire" is a background. "Purple Dragon Rook" is an origin feat that's provided by that background.
What exactly do you mean by "isn't there"? Are you saying that you've selected the "Purple Dragon Squire" background, but the associated origin feat "Purple Dragon Rook" isn't appearing in the list of feats on your character sheet?

No rook and Commander are present but Squire isn't anywhere when try to select it
Purple Dragon Squire is a background, not a feat. You're saying you don't see that in the list of backgrounds on the Background tab?
