I have just begun to DM D&D 5e for my small group of friends, and I have decided that it would be advantageous to compile a list of links to websites, pdfs, and files that I could quickly reference during prep and playtime to help me deal with rules, find inspiration, etc., and I was wondering if any of you forum users know of any good websites or even, other forums for such things? I am looking for things like; environmentally based random encounters, standard food and lodging prices, rules for extreme heat and cold environments. formulas for creating hamlets, towns, and cities, plot inspiration, and the like. If you do know of any such (free) resources, I would greatly appreciate if you would guide me to them! Thank you so much for your time and help!
These are the website links I have in my onenote that I quite often use, another good resource I tend to use is get layouts people use for a GM screen and set that as a seperate tab in onenote, it's nice and quick to get to all that information then.
