I don't know how to subscribe... (choosing homebrew content)

I wanted to take use some homebrew content, but I can't add it till I subscribe. I am still pretty lost in here, could someone help/explain please?

On the character creation page (first page) make sure the homebrew option is enabled.

However the free subscription doesn't give you access to other people's homebrew, only your own.

I did make sure I just can't add content from others to my collection. Does it mean I have to pay if I want to use others homebrew content?

yes, you need a paid subscription to access other users Homebrew items.

If you look at the subscription link in the market place  (https://www.dndbeyond.com/subscribe) it shows you what you get at each of the 3 levels (Free, Hero and Master)
