DM in my campaign gave me an item that gives me a +2 to save DC. Is there a way to reflect that on my character sheet in D&D Beyond?
Secondary question: The item is a modified Doss Lute. She gave me different spells to use on the item. Is there a way to customize that on the item in D&D Beyond to give me different items? Or is there any other kind of work around such as creating an item from scratch, or...?
Yes! Both of these are relatively easy options using the homebrew tools.
For the +2 to your spell save DC, you'll want to create the item that your DM gave you, which can take many forms in the homebrew magic item builder (weapon, armor, item, and the items can range in subtype). Then add to it a Modifier, with Modifier Type: Bonus, Modifier Subtype: Spell Save DC, Fixed Value: 2.
For the Doss Lute, the easiest method will be to create a magic item but using the Doss Lute as the template. Once you've done so, you'll be able to see all of the attached spells, and can edit/add/delete the spells as you see fit!
Awesome! I got it figured out! If you could help me out with one more thing.... I'm also trying to add +2 Charisma to it. But I can't figure out the combo. It's not populating on my character sheet after I equip the item.
The modifier you're looking for would be Modifier Type: Bonus, Modifier Subtype: Charisma Score, Fixed Value: 2. But even after you save the homebrew creation again, changes can take up to 15 minutes or so to appear.

Also.... I can find the item on one of my characters but not the other... how do I fix that?
Disregard this part. Figured it out!
