Hi all, I have a question about the sourcebooks that are on sale now.
Now there’s a sale on D&D beyond I wanted to buy a couple of sourcebooks. But I already do own fysical copies of the player manual, Dm guide, Volo’s guide to Monsters, Mordekainens tome of foes and Tasha’s cauldron of everything.
I know that when I buy more digital books I get certain options for character building and such. Now my question is: Now I own the Player andM guide physically, does it have any digital benefits for me if I buy either digitally?
There are three benefits to buying digital content:
1) access to the content - which you already have in physical form. The only added advantage is portability of content on a device vs in a book. 2) being able to use that content in the digital tools on the platform - character options have to be unlocked for the character builder, monsters for the encounter builder, items for either. 3) being able to share that content so others you play with can see it and use it in the tools as well (in which case someone in the group needs a Master tier subscription as well, not necessarily you).
Up to you to decide if that's worth it to you.

I’m the (noobish) DM of my group by the way.

Any revisions to the content you own digitally (like errata) are updated to your digital content automatically.
A good point, though not everybody actually likes that.

Thank you for your help guys. Decided to go for other sourcebooks.
