I like the character sheet and dice presentation in D&D Beyond but I'm kind of confused. Beyond installing the browser extension to show dice rolls in discord is there any way people in my D&D Beyond campaign can see each other's dice rolls?
I am investigating VTTs as well which would render this question academic but for "theater of the mind" type games the question is relevant.
There are actually two ways to share dice rolls that compliment each other:
Method one is to join a campaign with your fellow players and open the game log. All dice rolls will be shared there. Additionally, any dice the DM rolls from the combat tracker for encounters that are associated with that campaign will be displayed. More details can be found here and here
Method two also requires joining a campaign and linking your campaign to avrae, the official D&D Beyond discord bot. Any rolls you make will then be reported to the discord channel you assign, as well as any dice rolls you make through avrae being shared within the game long on the site. You can do this with the !campaign command, which should then guide you through the steps. Please note that for full avrae functionality, it's recommend you link your discord and D&D Beyond accounts here
