I have been runnung a campaign for a group of 10 year old boys (my son and his friends), so I am interested in what you consider to be "Kid Friendly". I have the tenancy to use mercer-like descriptions for battles and while I try to tone it down a bit for the kids, they seem to like having something that isnt pre-chewed for them, so to speak https://19216811.cam/https://1921681001.id/ .
I never have any sexual content in my games, even for my regular group, so no problem there. However, I always try to make the villain or antagonist morally grey or somehow sympathetic. (For instance the last boss battle for the kids was a half ogre that had gone insane because he had fallen into an old ice coated pit formed by the underground ruins they were in. He had been down there for years, taought himself to read the few books he had found, and survived off of rats he caught. Poor thing had gone mad from loneliness and confinement.)
