There's a link on the official D&D website pointing to the D&D Beyond Marketplace, but the new book isn't there, even though it's possible to pre-order on Roll20.
It was very awkward and frustrating clicking the link and seeing nothing. Come on, I wanna give you money lol
Just going to point out that if there's a sale in DDB between a book going up for pre-order and the actual release, there's always a number of negative comments from people who pre-ordered at full price. Do what you want, but pre-ordering right away will lock you in at full price and isn't going to get you the book any sooner.

It has not even be released psychically and the offical dnd website has no links to dnd beyond so I know your lying.
Well it has been releases psychically, in that it's on a lot of people's minds ;)
I will say that I find the fact that people can actually give money to Amazon for a pre-order right now and nowhere else a bit problematic. Calling "first" is sometimes an impulse a lot of consumers in hobbies like TTRPGs happen, and I wonder if sales for everyone non Amazon would be different if everyone was allowed to open for pre-orders on Amazon's time table. If a consortium of physical game stores and digital content publishers were to say lobby on social media for Hasbro to change this practice, I'd sign on.
PSA Again, if you have the means and plan on buying a physical copy, support your local game store and the attendant hobby infrastructure. You'll get it the same day Amazon would give it to you. /PSA

Psychically? Groovy...
If you look at the product page for the book, you'll see a big ol' button linking to DDB below the big ol' button linking to Amazon and next to the big ol' button linking to Roll20.

Completely agree with the sentiment, but the book is also up for preorder at Barnes & Noble. It might just be a matter of being faster on the drop, in which case local stores are at a disadvantage since they have to wait for their middleman, the distributor.

Just gonna second Midnight's PSA: if you can give literally any business other than Amazon money, do that instead. Supporting your FLGS is way more important than paying the same money for the same book a few days/weeks sooner, especially when you won't get the book any sooner either way.
