This is a really stupid concept and in ‘rules lawyer’ environment, it dosent work. But just theoretically and based on the information we have, it does work.
So you know how dragonborns were made when horny bards had babies with dragons? And Draconic bloodline sorcerers is the same? If you play a Dragonborn draconic sorcerer, in THEORY, would that mean that both your parents are dragons? And that LOGICALLY, you are one too? Or would it be that you only have 1 draconic parent and he gave you more powers? I know this is very silly, and if a DM allows this I’ll just laugh and say no thank you, but it’s fun to know if you could be a Dragon.

Well, no. Because it's far more likely that you just have two different draconic ancestors, or that your parent/parent's parent/parent's parent's parent (whichever relative was a dragon, it doesn't have to be your parent) gave you magical powers.

Dragonborn aren't the direct children of dragons... that would be Half-Dragons, which is basically a dragonborn with a tail who actually has darkvision and regenerates their breath weapon the same way a dragon does, instead of just being a one-and-done thing.
In my homebrew world, Dragonborn were created by a magical pact between an ancient powerful dragon and a high level wizard. There are only a certain number of them.

Alright, just because I love this kind of silly shenanigans...
Technically this falls on its face because Transmorpher is correct: Dragonborn aren't the direct descendants of dragons, BUT. BUT, I *could* argue that this theoretical character is a first generation Draconian (in a similar manner to Dragonlance) wherein they were born of a corruption of a dragon egg, and their stunted draconic powers manifest as a Draconic Bloodline sorcerer. Bonus points if you take the same ancestry for both Dragonborn and Sorcerer, but to explain why you might not, just claim it was part of the ritual process to fuse the powers of two breeds together.

Trying to get your physical content on Beyond is like going to Microsoft and saying "I have a physical Playstation disk, give me a digital Xbox version!"
Lore was "We were living in the real world, transported into Faerun" as the campaign premise. Guy who came with us was a Dragonborn, but through some shenanigans he transformed into a true dragon upon an interaction with Bahamut. So every other level, he'd roll on a table and get some feature associated with dragons in addition to whatever features his Paladin/Oath of Devotion gave him. The balance was he got no magic items, because he was a ******* dragon. So as he got flight, a bigger size, stronger breath weapons, legendary resistance, and eventually true sight? Other players were getting rings of protection, staff of cold, etc. It honestly balanced pretty well in the grand scheme since those extra abilities were his magic items. It also changed the roleplay since HE WAS A ******* DRAGON, and the townspeople treated him like one.
Firstly, dragonborn do not have a parent as a dragon and a parent as a human. That is a half dragon which is not a race. (There basically dragonborn with tails, so if you ask your DM you may be allowed to play a half dragon.)
Secondly, draconic ancestor sorcerer has a dragon as a distant ancestor, not a parent.
In my setting you could sort of call them maybe 1/4 dragons as they are descended from humans genetically modified via magic by their now overthrown ancient dragon overlords to be half dragons which as they procreated the dragon genes became weaker and weaker until they became Dragonborn.
Not sure about all the details but this is a cool idea. Or just play a dragon polymorphed into human (or elven) form, like Silvara in the original Dragonlance series (who I think was a fairly young dragon and was the equivalent of an 11th level character at most).
@Thauraeln_The_Bold (or anybody else) would this work under 5e RAW?

Sure it would! As long as you come up with a reason the dragon can't change back into their normal form, you can play them as a draconic sorcerer.

So I've seen this done in a game I was in.

this is a fun concept
Well no for two reasons:
Firstly, dragonborn do not have a parent as a dragon and a parent as a human. That is a half dragon which is not a race. (There basically dragonborn with tails, so if you ask your DM you may be allowed to play a half dragon.)
Secondly, draconic ancestor sorcerer has a dragon as a distant ancestor, not a parent.
I am an average mathematics enjoyer.

Dragonborn aren't half dragons in official lore.
In my setting you could sort of call them maybe 1/4 dragons as they are descended from humans genetically modified via magic by their now overthrown ancient dragon overlords to be half dragons which as they procreated the dragon genes became weaker and weaker until they became Dragonborn.
So it depends on the setting really.
