Ray's the D&D boss now and according to his twitter they are working on 5 settings right now, 2 Classic, 1 Revisit (almost certainly the Forgotten Realms), and 2 new.
Add in the already announced Strixhaven book and that is 6 settings!
3 could be cut still if they don't measure up, but according to Ray so far they are all doing great. I figure we could get between 3 to 5 of them next year.
Om compareson we have 5 setting books over the left span of 5e right now, by the end of next year it could 11.
For the new ones I think one of them will be the Domains of Delight as hinted at in the new adventure witchlight.
