I am trying to make an ice tiefling genie Eefrit warlock so I can get cold & fire resistance for an upcoming campaign. Is there a way to build that in D&DBeyond? I have variant tiefling (cause I thought it may have been behind a paywall) but that is still fire resistant. My only guess was to do custom lineage which is decent, but I have to forgo hellish rebuke and or vicious mockery Either will be extremely helpful based on the setting of the campaign.
Any advice, or should I just keep using the custom lineage?
You want the Levistus Tiefling, It's in MToF. The Legacy of Stygia trait grants it ray of frost and Armor of Agathys. However, it does not have cold resistance, but instead RAW keeps the Tieflings fire resistance. I think a reasonable DM might allow swapping out fire for ice resistances. Either making a note of it in the character sheet or rewriting the whole sub race in homebrew.

Jander Sunstar is the thinking person's Drizzt, fight me.
Yeah, Infernal Constitution is a pretty solid feat: +1 Con, and it gives resistance to both cold and poison damage as well as advantage on saves against being poisoned.

Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
I'm a bit tired and I misread that as Internal Combustion and did a double take. That'd be a hell of a feat.
The name is misleading. It's actually just a highly advanced form of indigestion.
Which gives said tiefling the innate ability to use Tasha's caustic brew (cast as a 2nd level spell) once per day? The stream of acid emenating from that tiefling's mouth as the internal combustion does its thing...

Thanks so much! We're starting at 10 so I can definitely take the internal blood feat.
