Hello. I am a total newbie. I created an account and purchased the player's handbook, the DM guide and some dice. But where is the content??? I don't understand the D&D Beyond home page at all. There is nothing in my account which shows what I have purchased. Please help. I am lost with this.
You can read the content using the Sources pulldown menu at the top of the page. It'll show all the books and even their content listings, but the full contents will only be available to you for the books you bought (and the content that's free, like the Basic Rules). At the same time, the tools have the content you own integrated already: if you create a character using the builder for instance, all the options that are part of the content you own will be "unlocked", so to speak, while everything else (that isn't part of the free Basic Rules) will link to the Marketplace.
edit: also, if you go to your account and look over the different tabs there's one that says "marketplace" - that's not the actual Marketplace where you buy more stuff, it's a page that lists all the content you own.

Thanks,
fumbling mage hand.
No worries, it's not really intuitive.

Want to start playing but don't have anyone to play with? You can try these options: [link].
Many thanks! Found it.
