I'm starting a campaign for some people new to D&D. I was going to make some characters for them add them to the campaign and let them choose but when my players try to join, they are required to bring a character. Is there anyway for them to join without having to make a character? Or can I share/send the character to them in another way so they can bring it into the campaign?
You can add characters to the campaign yourself (either by making them in the campaign or following your own invite link) and then unassign them. When your players join, they'll have the option to claim one of these unassigned characters
