New to DMing and I’m using a combination of dndbeyond and roll20 for maps. We’re running the salt marsh adventure. If I prebuild some of the encounters before the game will my players see them before they’re run? Couldn’t quite find the answer anywhere.
They will not in my experience. From what the players tell me, they don't ever see it even when I would like them too. I am new too so I am interested in how that works also. I am DMing a PBF game however.

Do you mean see the encounters you build on dndbeyond? or see them on roll20?
In dndbeyond using the encounter builder
They will not see the encounters you built because they're your encounters. Unless they log into your account.
Just as you wouldn't be able to see any encounters they build if they so choose.
