Where are the lava rules?

Does anyone know where the rules for lava are, I swear I'm having a Mandela effect here? I own DMG, Xanathar's, PHB, and Tasha's and I just can't find them?

Any creature that falls into the lava or starts its turn there takes 55 (10d10) fire damage. Quoted from Tomb of Annihilation.

As for the DMG: Chapter 8-Running the Game-Combat-Improvising Damage

Improvising Damage is used to handle natural hazards like this now. Season to table/taste.
