So I wasn’t able to find a thread that covered this, if there is, there are a lot of them so maybe I missed it.
what clever out of combat uses have you all found for your player character’s constructs (artificer’s steel defender, servant homunculus, summons/creations).
obviously the most obvious use is as camp guards because they can’t be surprised.
Mounts and mules (for small characters) because they are tireless.
But what other creative ways have you all found to use them outside of combat?
Artificer in the party I'm Dming made a flying coffeemaker to be a servant homunculus. Outside of combat he used it to help himself or another player during downtime activities by dispensing coffee.
