I'm currently trying to make a feat for my character that gives him grit points like the Gunslinger subclass of Fighter. How do I manually create similar points in the advanced settings of homebrew feats? Also how would I add in trick shots to the feat if possible?
Okay so, You are gonna want to make the feat ofcourse and then go down to add an action, leave everything blank besides ofcourse the name and description of it and at the bottom you designate the type of activation, be it bonus action, no action, etc. and designated the reset type, short rest or long rest whichever you prefer and save it. Now you are gonna want to go back to the action and edit it and scroll all the way down to "Limited Use" and designate number of limited uses or alternatively designate if it scales of proficiency bonus or an ability modifier. Hope this helps.
