Campaign Functionality Question

Is it possible to move/transfer a character generated outside of a campaign, into a campaign? 

If not this seems like an easy bit of functionality to add.

When you use the campaign link to get into a campaign, you are prompted to either create a new character, or join the campaign with a character already present on your account.
